Abstract:A process for achieving photocatalyzed tri- and difluoromethylation/cyclizations for constructing a series of tri- or difluoromethylated indole[2,1-a]isoquinoline derivatives is described. This protocol utilized an inexpensive organic photoredox catalyst and provided good yields.
