Abstract:Course exercise and production practice are split and recombined due to the problem presented in the practical training of Water and Wastewater Science & Engineering specialty. A practical module is constructed of originally sporadic course exercise and production practice, so the two parts can be progressed alternately during the practice period. The originally separated course exercise of the pipe engineering is integrated to a comprehensive one which is closer to the actual project. Furthermore, the course exercise evaluation system is reformed focusing on process evaluation and innovation is encouraged. After two periods of reform practice, the comprehension of curriculum contents is strengthened by practice in study and study in practice, and the ability of project design of student increase rapidly.
