Abstract:OBJECTIVE:We aimed to evaluate the value of 3D pseudocontinuous arterial spin-labeling (pCASL) perfusion imaging detected crossed cerebellar diaschisis (CCD) at different stages of intracerebral hemorrhage (ICH).MATERIALS AND METHODS:We assessed bilateral cerebral blood flow (CBF) values of different brain regions and the relationships between the CCD and clinical status of 16 ICH patients.RESULTS:The ICH patients had significantly lower CBF values in the contralateral cerebellum in acute, subacute and chronic stages. The subacute CCD had a significant correlation with clinical status.CONCLUSIONS:3D pCASL may be an ideal tool to study the phenomenon and clinical consequences of ICH with CCD.
