Abstract:We identified a novel rhabdovirus from the horseshoe bat ( Rhinolophus thomasi ) in China with probable infectivity in humans. DPRV was isolated in vitro from several mammalian cell lines, indicating wide host tropism, excluding bats, of DPRV.
