Abstract:The main aim of this paper is to study new features and specific properties of the Toeplitz operator with radial symbols in harmonic Fock spaces. A new spectral decomposition of a Toeplitz operator with Wick symbols is also established.

Abstract:The Fock space $\mathcal{F}(\mathbb{C}^n)$ is the space of holomorphic functions on $\mathbb{C}^n$ that are square-integrable with respect to the Gaussian measure on $\mathbb{C}^n$. This space plays an important role in several subfields of analysis and representation theory. In particular, it has for a long time been a model to study Toeplitz operators. Esmeral and Maximenko showed in 2016 that radial Toeplitz operators on $\mathcal{F}(\mathbb{C})$ generate a commutative $C^*$-algebra which is isometrically isomorphic to the $C^*$-algebra $C_{b,u}(\mathbb{N}_0,\rho_1)$. In this article, we extend the result to $k$-quasi-radial symbols acting on the Fock space $\mathcal{F}(\mathbb{C}^n)$. We calculate the spectra of the said Toeplitz operators and show that the set of all eigenvalue functions is dense in the $C^*$-algebra $C_{b,u}(\mathbb{N}_0^k,\rho_k)$ of bounded functions on $\mathbb{N}_0^k$ which are uniformly continuous with respect to the square-root metric. In fact, the $C^*$-algebra generated by Toeplitz operators with quasi-radial symbols is $C_{b,u}(\mathbb{N}_0^k,\rho_k)$.

Abstract:In this paper, we show that the spectrum of Toeplitz operators on the Bergman space with harmonic symbols of affine functions of z and z̅ equals the image of closed unit disk under the symbol. Surprisingly this does not hold for Toeplitz operators with harmonic symbols of quadratic functions of z and z̅ .

Abstract:In this paper, we study some characterizations of the Toeplitz and Hankel operators with positive operator-valued function as symbol on the vector-valued Fock-type spaces. We first discuss that the Bergman projection is bounded for all , and obtain the duality of the vector-valued Fock-type spaces. Second, using operator-valued Carleson conditions, we give a complete characterization of the boundedness and compactness of the Toeplitz operators on $F^p_{\Psi }({\mathcal {H}})(1<p<\infty )$ . Finally, we describe the boundedness (or compactness) of the Hankel operators and on in terms of a bounded (or vanishing) mean oscillation. We also give geometrical descriptions for the operator-valued spaces and defined in terms of the Berezin transform.</p

Abstract:In this paper, we study the spectrum of Toeplitz operators on the Dirichlet space D with bounded conjugate analytic symbols and give a characterization of the kernels of Toeplitz operators with harmonic symbols in P‾+M(D). Using this characterization, we show that the spectrum of a Toeplitz operator with symbol, the sum of an analytic polynomial with degree at most two and the conjugate of linear polynomial is connected, but there are Toeplitz operators with general harmonic polynomial symbols having disconnected spectrum.

Abstract:This paper shows some new phenomenon in the spectral theory of Toeplitz operators on the Bergman space, which is considerably different from that of Toeplitz operators on the Hardy space. On the one hand, we prove that the spectrum of the Toeplitz operator with symbol (z) over bar+ p is always connected for every polynomial p with degree less than 3. On the other hand, we show that for each integer k greater than 2, there exists a polynomial p of degree k such that the spectrum of the Toeplitz operator with symbol (z) over bar+ p is a nonempty finite set. Then these results are applied to obtain a new class of non-hyponormal Toeplitz operators with bounded harmonic symbols on the Bergman space for which Weyl's theorem holds.

Abstract:In this paper we extend Galbis' elegant norm bounds for self-adjoint Toeplitz operators on the Fock space to bounded and integrable symbols which are non-radial. The main ingredients are a transplantation of the remarkable Nicola-Tilli isoperimetric inequality to the realm of Fock-Toeplitz operator theory and a two-dimensional adaption of Galbis' integration and approximation arguments.

Abstract:Abstract Recently the authors characterized the Fredholmn properties of Toeplitz operators on weighted Fock spaces when the Laplacian of the weight function is bounded below and above. In the present work the authors extend their characterization to doubling Fock spaces with a subharmonic weight whose Laplacian is a doubling measure. The geometry induced by the Bergman metric for doubling Fock spaces is much more complicated than that of the Euclidean metric used in all the previous cases to study Fredholmness, which leads to considerably more involved calculations.

Abstract:We study the C*-algebra generated by Toeplitz operators with symbols of vanishing (mean) oscillation on the Bergman space of the unit ball. We show that the index calculation for Fredholm operators in this C*-algebra can be easily and completely reduced to the classic case of Toeplitz operators with symbols that are continuous on the closed unit ball. Moreover, in addition to a number of other properties, we show that this C*-algebra has uncountably many Fredholm components.

Abstract:In this paper, we study positive Toeplitz operators on the harmonic Bergman space via their Berezin transforms. We consider the Toeplitz operators with continuous harmonic symbols on the closed disk and show that the Toeplitz operator is positive if and only if its Berezin transform is nonnegative on the disk. On the other hand, we construct a function such that the Toeplitz operator with this function as the symbol is not positive but its Berezin transform is positive on the disk. We also consider the harmonic Bergman space on the upper half plane and prove that in this case the positive Toeplitz operators with continuous integrable harmonic symbols must be the zero operator.

Abstract:In this paper we completely characterize finite rank semicommutator or commutator of two Toeplitz operators with bounded harmonic symbols on the Bergman space. We show that if the product of two Toeplitz operators with bounded harmonic symbols has finite rank, then one of the Toeplitz operators must be zero.

Abstract:We consider various classes of bounded operators on the Fock space $F^2$ of Gaussian square integrable entire functions over the complex plane. These include Toeplitz (type) operators, weighted composition operators, singular integral operators, Volterra-type operators and Hausdorff operators and range from classical objects in harmonic analysis to more recently introduced classes. As a leading problem and closely linked to well-known compactness characterizations we pursue the question of when these operators are contained in the Toeplitz algebra. This paper combines a (certainly in-complete) survey of the classical and more recent literature including new ideas for proofs from the perspective of quantum harmonic analysis (QHA). Moreover, we have added a number of new theorems and links between known results.

Abstract:In this paper, we conducted a study of H-Toeplitz operators on the Dirichlet type space $ \mathfrak{D}_{t} $, which included several aspects. To begin, we established the matrix representation of the H-Toeplitz operator $ S_{\varphi} $ with respect to the orthonormal basis of $ \mathfrak{D}_t $. Subsequently, we characterized the compactness of $ S_{\varphi} $ in terms of the symbol $ \varphi $. Furthermore, we developed a new method to investigate the algebraic properties of H-Toeplitz operators, including self-adjointness, diagonality, co-isometry, partial isometry as well as commutativity.

Abstract:Based on our paper (Dan et al. in J Funct Anal 273:559–597, 2017), we continue the study on totally Abelian analytic Toeplitz operators on the Hardy space. However, rather than to focus on the geometry of the symbol curves associated with these operators as done before, this paper is to consider the Riemann surfaces in $${\mathbb {C}}^{2}$$ defined by these symbols. In this way, we reveal the connection between the totally Abelian property of these operators and the distinguished varieties arising from the Riemann surfaces, thus widely extend the classes of function symbols considered in the previous paper. Furthermore, an alternative method is used to provide a sharp characterization for analytic Toeplitz operators being not totally Abelian.
