Abstract:Journal of Hand Surgery (European Volume), Ahead of Print. Opioid prescribing after carpal tunnel release (CTR) is not well understood. We assessed CTR opioid prescribing within a quality collaborative after the dissemination of guidelines. Post guidelines, the odds of receiving a prescription decreased by 67%. Quality collaboratives can change practice patterns.Level of evidence: III
