Abstract:Let F be a class of finite groups. A subgroup H of a finite group G is said to be F-s-quasinormal in G if there exists a normal subgroup T of G such that HT is s-permutable in G and (H boolean AND T)H-G/H-G is contained in the F-hypercenter Z(infinity)(F)(G/H-G) of G/H-G. In this paper, we investigate further the influence of F-s-quasinormality of some subgroups on the structure of finite groups. New characterization of some classes of finite groups are obtained.

Abstract:Let sigma = { sigma( i) | i is an element of I} be some partition of the set of all primes. A subgroup A of a finite group G is said to be: (i) sigma-subnormal in G if there is a subgroup chain A = A (0) <= A (1) <= center dot center dot center dot <= A (n) = G such that either A( i - 1) (sic) A (i) or A( i) / ( A( i - 1 )) A (i) is a sigma( j)-group, j = j( i), for all i = 1 , ... , n; (ii) modular in G if the following conditions are held: (1) < X, A boolean AND Z) = < X, A >boolean AND Z for all X <= G, Z <= G such that X <= Z, and (2) < A, Y boolean AND Z > = < A, Y >boolean AND Z for all Y <= G, Z <= G such that A <= Z; (iii) sigma-quasinormal in G if A is sigma-subnormal and modular in G. Abstract:Let H be a subgroup of a group G . We say that H is c -subnormal in G if there exists a subnormal subgroup T of G such that H ⁢ T = G and H ∩ T ⩽ H G , where H G is the maximal normal subgroup of G which is contained in H . In this paper, we investigate the structure of a finite group G under the assumption that all maximal subgroups are c -subnormal subgroups and present some new conditions for supersolvability.

Abstract:Throughout this paper, all groups are finite and sigma is some partition of the set of all primes P (that is, sigma = {sigma(i) vertical bar i is an element of I}, where P = boolean OR(i is an element of I)sigma(i) and sigma(i) boolean AND sigma(j) = empty set for all i not equal j). A subgroup A of a group G is said to be sigma-subnormal in G if there is a subgroup chain A = A(0) <= A(1) <= . . . <= A(n) = G such that either A(i-1) >= A(i) or A(i)/(A(i-1))A(i) is a sigma(j)-group for some j = j(i) for all i = 1, . . ., n. In this review, we discuss some known results of the theory of sigma-subnormal subgroups and also some open questions in this line research.

Abstract:The aim of this paper is to investigate the influence of intrinsic properties of maximal subgroups on Coleman automorphisms of finite groups G. Let M be a maximal subgroup of G. It is proved that if M is simple then OutCol(G)=1 . It is also proved that either OutCol(G) is trivial or OutCol(G) is an abelian p-group for some prime p provided that M has a unique nontrivial proper normal subgroup. As an application, it is obtained that under some additional conditions the normalizer property holds for such groups.

Abstract:Let G be a finite group and F a saturated formation of finite groups. We say that G is quasi-F-group if for every F-eccentric chief factor H/K of G and every x. G, x induces an inner automorphism on H/K. In particular, we have the concepts of quasisoluble, quasisupersoluble, quasimetanilpotent groups, and so on. In this article, we obtain some results about the quasi-F-groups and use them to give the conditions under which a group is quasisoluble, quasimetanilpotent, or quasisupersoluble.

Abstract:Let $ \sigma=\{\sigma_i:i\in I\} $ be a partition of the set $ \mathbb{P} $ of all primes. A finite group $ G $ is called $ \sigma $-primary if the prime divisors, if any, of $|G|$ all belong to the same member of $ \sigma $. A finite group $ G $ is called $ \sigma $-soluble if every chief factor of $ G $ is $ \sigma$-primary. A subgroup $H$ of a group $G$ is called $\sigma$-subnormal in $G$ if there is a chain of subgroups $H=H_0\leq H_1\leq\cdots\leq H_n=G$ such that either $ H_{i-1} $ is normal in $ H_i $ or $ H_{i}/(H_{i-1})_{H_{i}} $ is $ \sigma $-primary for all $ i=1,\dots,n $; A subgroup $H$ of a group $G$ is called $\sigma$-$c$-subnormal in $G$ if there is a subnormal subgroup $T$ of $G$ such that $G=HT$ and $H\cap T\leq H_{\sigma G}$, where the subgroup $H_{\sigma G}$ is generated by all $\sigma$-subnormal subgroups of $G$ contained in $H$. Abstract:A topological group G is called locally minimal if there exists a neighbourhood V of 1 in G such that if H is a Hausdorff group and f:G→H is a continuous isomorphism such that f(V) is a neighbourhood of 1 in H, then f is open. This paper is focused on the study of quotients of locally minimal groups.A topological group G is called locally q-minimal if there exists a neighbourhood V of the identity of G such that whenever H is a Hausdorff group and f:G→H is a continuous surjective homomorphism such that f(V) is a neighbourhood of 1 in H, then f is open. We find a close connection between locally q-minimality and divisibility, by showing that a dense subgroup of Rn is locally q-minimal if and only if it is divisible. A description of the locally q-minimal subgroups of the n-dimensional torus Tn is also given.Two weaker versions of local q-minimality are proposed – a topological group G is:(a)locally t-minimal, if all Hausdorff quotients of G are locally minimal;(b)locally q⁎-minimal, if there exists a neighbourhood V of 1 in G such that whenever H is a Hausdorff group and f:G→H is a continuous surjective homomorphism such that f(V) is a neighbourhood of 1 in H and ker⁡f⊆V, then f is open.While local q-minimality and local t-minimality are preserved by taking quotients, local q⁎-minimality fails to have this property (so does not coincide with local t-minimality), yet it has a relevant advantage. By means of an appropriate notion of local t-density, one can show that a dense subgroup H of a Hausdorff group G is locally q⁎-minimal if and only if G is locally q⁎-minimal and H is locally t-dense in G. Similar criterion for local q-minimality is not available (examples are given to show that a topological group with a dense locally q-minimal subgroup need not be locally q-minimal). The interrelations of these three versions of local minimality, as well as their prominence properties are studied in detail.

A set $\mathcal{H} $ of subgroups of $G$ is said to be a complete Hall $\sigma$-set of $G$ if every non-identity member of $\mathcal{H}$ is a Hall $\sigma_i$-subgroup of $G$ for some $i\in I$ and $\mathcal{H}$ contains exactly one Hall $\sigma_i$-subgroup of $G$ for every $i$ such that $\sigma_i\cap \pi(G)\neq \emptyset$. Let $\tau_{\mathcal{H}}(A)=\{ \sigma_{i}\in \sigma(G)\backslash \sigma(A) \ |\ \sigma(A) \cap \sigma(H^{G})\neq\emptyset$ for a Hall $\sigma_{i}$-subgroup $H\in \mathcal{H}\}$. A subgroup $A$ of $G$ is said to be $\tau_{\sigma}$-permutable or $\tau_{\sigma}$-quasinormal in $G$ with respect to $\mathcal{H}$ if $AH^{x}=H^{x}A$ for all $x\in G$ and $H\in \mathcal{H}$ such that $\sigma(H)\subseteq \tau_{\mathcal{H}}(A)$, and $\tau_{\sigma}$-permutable or $\tau_{\sigma}$-quasinormal in $G$ if $A$ is $\tau_{\sigma}$-permutable in $G$ with respect to some complete Hall $\sigma$-set of $G$. We say that a subgroup $A$ of $G$ is weakly $\tau_{\sigma}$-quasinormal in $G$ if $G$ has a $\sigma$-subnormal subgroup $T$ such that $AT=G$ and $A\cap T\leq A_{\tau_{\sigma}G}$, where $A_{\tau_{\sigma}G}$ is the subgroup generated by all those subgroups of $A$ which are $\tau_{\sigma}$-quasinormal in $G$. We study the structure of $G$ being based on the assumption that some subgroups of $G$ are weakly $\tau_{\sigma}$-quasinormal in $G$.

Abstract:A subgroup A of a finite group G is called a generalized CAP-subgroup of G if for each G-chief factor H/K either A avoids H/K or the following hold:(1) if H/K is non-abelian,then (A ∩ H)K/K is a Hall subgroup of H/K;(2) if H/K is a p-group,then |G:NG((A ∩ H)K)| is a p-number.We say that a subgroup H of G is CAP-quasinormal in G if G has a quasinormal subgroup T and a generalized CAP-subgroup A such that HT is S-quasinormal in G and H ∩ T ≤ A ≤ H.In this paper,we obtain some results about the CAP-quasinormal subgroups and use them to give the condition under which a finite group belongs to a saturated formation containing supersolvable groups.Many recent results are extended.
