Abstract:In this paper we study the following nonhomogeneous Schrödinger–Maxwell equations {[ - u+V(x)u+ ϕ u=f(x,u)+h(x), in 𝐑^3,; -ϕ=u^2, in 𝐑^3, ]. where f satisfies the Ambrosetti–Rabinowitz type condition. Under appropriate assumptions on V , f and h , the existence of multiple solutions is proved by using the Ekeland’s variational principle and the Mountain Pass Theorem in critical point theory. Similar results for the nonhomogeneous Klein–Gordon–Maxwell equations {[ - u+[m^2-(ω+ϕ)^2]u=|u|^q-2u+h(x), in 𝐑^3,; -ϕ+ ϕ u^2=-ω u^2, in 𝐑^3, ]. are also obtained when 2 < q < 6.

Abstract:Abstract The paper considers the following nonhomogeneous Schrodinger–Maxwell system: (SM) { − Δ u + u + λ ϕ ( x ) u = | u | p − 1 u + g ( x ) , x ∈ R 3 , − Δ ϕ = u 2 , x ∈ R 3 , where λ > 0 , p ∈ ( 1 , 5 ) , and 0 ≤ g ( x ) = g ( | x | ) ∈ L 2 ( R 3 ) . There seem to be no results on the existence of multiple solutions to problem (SM) for p ∈ ( 1 , 3 ) . In this paper, we find that there is a constant C p > 0 such that problem (SM) has at least two solutions for all p ∈ ( 1 , 5 ) provided that ‖ g ‖ L 2 ≤ C p , however, for p ∈ ( 1 , 2 ] we need λ > 0 is small. Moreover, C p = ( p − 1 ) 2 p [ ( p + 1 ) S p + 1 2 p ] 1 / ( p − 1 ) , where S is the Sobolev constant.

Abstract:The paper considers the following nonhomogeneous Schrödinger–Maxwell system: (SM){−Δu+u+λϕ(x)u=|u|p−1u+g(x),x∈R3,−Δϕ=u2,x∈R3, where λ>0, p∈(1,5), and 0≤g(x)=g(|x|)∈L2(R3). There seem to be no results on the existence of multiple solutions to problem (SM) for p∈(1,3). Abstract:In this paper, we study the following Schrodinger-Poisson system{ -Delta u + V(x)u + phi u = f(x, u) + g(x), x is an element of R-3,-Delta phi = u(2), x is an element of R-3.Under appropriate assumptions on V, f and g, using the Mountain Pass Theorem and the Ekeland's variational principle, we establish two existence theorems to ensure that the above system has at least two different solutions. Recent results from the literature are extended and improved.

Abstract:In this paper, by using variational methods and critical point theory, we study the existence of semiclassical solutions for the following nonlinear Schrödinger–Maxwell equations{−ε2Δu+V(x)u+ϕu=f(x,u),in R3,−Δϕ=4πu2,in R3, where ε>0 and V(x)⩾0 for all x∈R3. Abstract:In this paper, we study the following nonhomogeneous Schrödinger–Born–Infeld system $$\begin{aligned} {\left\{ \begin{array}{ll} -\Delta u+u+\lambda \phi u=f(u)+g(x), &{}\text {in}\;{\mathbb {R}}^3, \\ -\text {div}\left( \frac{\nabla \phi }{\sqrt{1-\left| \nabla \phi \right| ^2}}\right) =u^2, &{}\text {in}\;{\mathbb {R}}^3,\\ u(x)\rightarrow 0,\;\phi (x)\rightarrow 0, &{}\text {as}\;|x|\rightarrow \infty , \end{array}\right. } \end{aligned}$$ where $$\lambda >0$$ , $$g(x)=g(\left| x\right| )\in L^2({\mathbb {R}}^3)$$ and $$f\in C({\mathbb {R}},{\mathbb {R}})$$ . To our knowledge, there seems to be no results to this problem. Under some suitable conditions on f and g, the existence of multiple solutions is proved by using Ekeland’s variational principle, monotonicity trick and cut-off technique. Moreover, we mention that our results cover the case that $$f(u)=|u|^{p-1}u$$ for $$p\in (1,2]$$ , which was left in Liu and Siciliano (J Math Anal Appl 503:125326, 2021) as an open problem.

Abstract:In this paper, we prove the existence of multiple solutions for the following quasilinear Schrodinger equation -Delta u - u Delta(|u|(2)) + V(|x|)u = f(|x|,u), x is an element of R-N. Under some generalized assumptions on f, we obtain infinitely many radial solutions for N >= 2, many non-radial solutions for N = 4 and N >= 6, and a non radial solution for N = 5. Our results generalize and extend some existing results.
