Abstract:Three new macropsine leafhopper species of the genus Pedionis are described and illustrated from China: Pedionis lii sp. nov. (Guizhou province: Xishui), P. spinata sp. nov. Abstract:A new species Pedionis (Pedionis) damingshanensis sp. nov. from Guangxi of China is described and illustrated, a known species P. (P.) garuda (Distant, 1916) rec. nov. is reported for the first time and redescribed based on 4 specimens in Fujian, Guangdong, Yunnan of China, a new combination P. (P.) hamiltoni (Li, Dai & Li, 2014) comb. nov. from the genus Varicopsella is revealed and a junior synonym Varicopsella (Multispinulosa) Li, Dai & Li, 2014 syn. nov. under Pedionis (Pedionis) Hamilton, 1980 is proposed.

Abstract:A new macropsinae leafhopper, Pedionis (Pedionis) yangi sp. nov., from Guizhou and Yunnan Provinces, China, is described and illustrated, P. (P.) palniensis Viraktamath, 1981 is reported for the first time from China based on specimens from Guizhou, Yunnan and Sichuan Provinces. The name P. (P.) tabulatus Li, Dai and Li, 2011 is changed to P (P.) tabulata Li, Dai and Li, 2011, in order that the generic and specific names agree in gender.

Abstract:The nominate subgenus Pediopsoides (Pediopsoides) Matsumura, 1912 is widely distributed in the Oriental region but has high species diversity only in southern China. The present paper describes and illustrates six new species of Pediopsoides (Pediopsoides) namely, P. (P.) ailaoshanensis Li & Dai, sp. nov., P. (P.) quadrispinosus Li & Dai, sp. nov., P. (P.) flavus Li & Dai, sp. nov., and P. (P.) pianmaensis Li & Dai, sp. nov. all collected in Yunnan Province, southwestern China, P. (P.) maoershanensis Li & Dai, sp. nov., found in Guangxi Autonomous Region, southern China, and P. (P.) huangi Li & Dai sp. nov., from Taiwan, previously incorrectly recorded as a new name by Li & Dai, 2018 in Dai et al. 2018: 203 for P. (P.) femorata Huang & Viraktamath, 1993 (nec Pediopsis femorata Hamilton, 1980). Two new junior synonyms of Sispocnis Anufriev, 1967 are proposed, i.e., Digitalis Liu & Zhang, 2002, syn. nov. and Neosispocnis Dmitriev, 2020, syn. nov.

Abstract:Two new macropsine leafhopper species, Pediopsoides (Celopsis) membrana sp. nov. (China: Guizhou) and Pediopsoides (Pediopsoides) jingdongensis sp. nov. (China: Yunnan) are described and illustrated. The subgeneric placements of these species are only tentative because they disagree somewhat with previous diagnoses of their respective subgenera. This suggests that the classification of subgenera within Pediopsoides needs to be re-evaluated.

Abstract:A new species,Pedionis（Pedionis） sagittata sp.nov.,collected from Yunnan Prov.of China,is described and illustrated.It is similar to P.（P.） lii Zhang et Viraktamath,but different from the latter by the short spines on the ventral margin of the male pygofer;it processes an aedeagal shaft rather large basally,occupying most area of the shaft;and it is strongly curved and relatively stout.The type specimen of the new species is deposited in the Institute of Entomology,Guizhou University,Guiyang,China（GUGC）.

Abstract:The leafhopper subgenus Pediopsoides (Sispocnis) Anufriev, 1967 is reviewed and the type species is fixed asBythoscopuskogotensisMatsumura, 1912. Six valid species of the subgenus are recognized including two new species described and illustrated here, Pediopsoides (Sispocnis) rectus Li, Li & Dai,sp. nov.and P. (S.) triangulus Li, Li & Dai,sp. nov.from Sichuan Province of Southwestern China. Additionally P. (S.) heterodigitatus Dai & Zhang, 2009 is proposed as a junior synonym of P. (S.) aomians (Kuoh, 1981) based on examination of many specimens. A key to species of the subgenus is also provided for identification.
