Abstract:•Impervious surfaces increased the air temperature (Ta) and soil temperature (Ts), and decreased relative humidity of air (RH) and soil volumetric moisture content (SMC) of the environment.•Impervious surface has negatively affected the eco-physiological characteristics of G. biloba.•The air temperature (Ta), leaf vapor pressure deficit (VPDL), and relative humidity (RH) were the main factors affecting the G. biloba on impervious surface.
