Abstract:Previously, there were ten known species in the genus Argyra Macquart from China. In this paper, the following three species from Sichuan Province of China are described as new to science: Argyra longicornissp. n., Argyra pingwuensissp. n. and Argyra sichuanensissp. n. Abstract:Arge albocaudalica Wei,Yan et He,sp.nov.is described from China.This new spccies is similar to Arge xanthogaster (Cameron,1876),but differs from the latter as follow:1)abdomen black brown,the 8th-10th abdominal tergites and ovipositor sheath yeUowish wlfite;2)petiole of hind anal cell distinctly shorter than cell M;3)the two nalTow middle inclsiom of sheath distinctly shorter than apical width of each lobe of sheath in dorsal view;4)lancet with 14 serrulae,the 2nd to 8th annuli each with about 9 lobe-like large sphles,length of the longest spine in the 2nd annulus about 3/4 breadth of the annulus,the length of the longest spine in the 8th annulus as long 88 breadth of the annulus.A key to known spedes of Arge xanthogaster group from East Asia s provided.

Abstract:Abstract Previously only one species of the genus Chrysosoma Guérin-Méneville was described from Tibet. Here four Chrysosoma species are added to the fauna of Tibet. The following three new species are described: Chrysosoma furcatum sp. nov., Chrysosoma nyingchiense sp. nov. and Chrysosoma spinosum sp. nov. Abstract:The status of the 20 genera comprising at least 60 species of Sciomyzidae known from China is reviewed. Ten genera are recorded for the first time from China. A diagnostic key to all genera known from China is provided along with figures of the main characters. The geographic distribution of every genus known from China is discussed and distribution maps are presented. Recorded for the first time in the Oriental Region are 2 genera (Coremacera Rondani, 1856 and Pherbina Robineau-Desvoidy, 1830) and 5 species (in Dichetophora Rondani, 1868, Pherbellia Robineau-Desvoidy, 1830, and Tetanocera Dumeril, 1800). Euthycera meleagris Hendel, 1933, previously synonymized with Dichetophora meleagris (Hendel, 1933), is resurrected as a valid name. Pherbellia brevistriata Li, Yang & Gu, 2001 is placed as a junior synonym of Pherbellia nana reticulata (Thomson, 1869). Reported for the first time are the female of Pherbellia ditoma Steyskal, 1956 and the male of Pherbellia orientalis Rozkosny & Knutson, 1991, both discovered in China during this study.

Abstract:A taxonomic study of the green lacewing subgenus Ankylopteryx Brauer, 1864, from China is presented. Eight species of this subgenus are recorded from China. A new species, namely Ankylopteryx (A.) yangi sp. nov., is described. Ankylopteryx (A.) delicatula Banks, 1937, and Ankylopteryx (A.) ferruginea Tsukaguchi, 1995 are recorded from China for the first time. Four new junior synonyms are proposed for Ankylopteryx (A.) octopunctata candida Fabricius, 1798: i.e. Ankylopteryx (A.) fraterna Banks, 1939, Ankylopteryx (A.) laticosta Banks, 1939, Ankylopteryx (A.) lii Yang, 1987, and Ankylopteryx (A.) tibetana Yang, 1987. A revised key to the Chinese species of the subgenus Ankylopteryx is provided.
