Abstract:Alzheimer's disease (AD) is a neurodegenerative disease characterized with behavioral disturbances and neuronal loss, which threaten people's life and lower their life quality. In recent years, the proposal of concept provide new ideas for promoting AD diagnosis, monitoring disease progress and assessing existed treatment. However, there are many technical difficulties in discovering clinical biomarker in AD. With its ability about capture functional protein precisely, quantitative proteomics plays an important role in improving the efficiency of clinical biomarker discovery. In this review, we summarize the application of quantitative proteomics in discovering clinical biomarker in AD.
