Abstract:A Pd-catalyzed direct ortho-C-H ethoxycarboxylation of anilides has been established to form various anthranilic acid derivatives at room temperature. This protocol provides a concise and efficient strategy for diversifying the preparation of anthranilic acid derivatives from readily available starting materials under mild conditions.
