Abstract:This paper presents some unitarily invariant norm inequalities for commutators and anticommutators of matrices. The obtained results generalize many celebrated results in the literature. Of particular interest, we show further bounds for the usual operator norm, with direct applications to numerical radius bounds. Moreover, we will investigate the class of normal matrices in this direction and obtain further improvements for this class.

Abstract:We give sufficient conditions for subsets to be precompact sets in variable Morrey spaces. Then we obtain the boundedness of the commutator generated by a singular integral operator and a BMO function on the variable Morrey spaces. Finally, we discuss the compactness of the commutator generated by a singular integral operator and a BMO function on the variable Morrey spaces.

Abstract:We provide generalizations of Burkholder's inequalities involving conditioned square functions of martingales to the general context of martingales in noncommutative symmetric spaces. More precisely, we prove that Burkholder's inequalities are valid for any martingale in noncommutative space constructed from a symmetric space defined on the interval $(0,\infty)$ with Fatou property and whose Boyd indices are strictly between 1 and 2. This answers positively a question raised by Jiao and may be viewed as a conditioned version of similar inequalities for square functions of noncommutative martingales. Using duality, we also recover the previously known case where the Boyd indices are finite and are strictly larger than 2.

Abstract:In this paper, [ b , T Ω, α ] is the commutator of fractional integral with the kernel function Ω on the unit sphere. The authors give a characterization of BMO space by studying the boundedness of [ b , T Ω, α ] from the Morrey spaces Lp , λ (R n ) to Lq , λ (R n ) when p > 1 and 1/ q = 1/ p - α /( n - λ ). The results in this paper improve and extend some known conclusions.

Abstract:For a prime number $p,$ let $\mathbb{Q}_p$ be the field of $p$-adic numbers. In this paper, we established the boundedness of a class of $p$-adic singular integral operators on the $p$-adic generalized Morrey spaces. In this paper, a CMO type space [Formula: see text] is introduced and studied. In particular, the relationship between [Formula: see text] and the Lipchitz space [Formula: see text] is discussed. Moreover, a necessary condition of restricted boundedness of the iterated commutator [Formula: see text] on weighted Lebesgue spaces via functions in [Formula: see text], and an equivalent characterization of the compactness for [Formula: see text] via functions in [Formula: see text] are obtained. Some results are new even in the unweighted setting for the first-order commutators.

Abstract:In this note, we study a question introduced by Bourin \cite{2009Matrix} and partially solve the question of Bourin. In fact, for t\in[0,\frac{1}{4}]\cup[\frac{3}{4},1], we show that |||x^{t}y^{1-t}+y^{t}x^{1-t}|||\leq|||x+y|||, where x,y\in\mathbb{M}_{n}(\mathbb{C})^+ and \||\cdot\|| is the unitarily invariant norm. Moreover, we prove that the above inequality holds on noncommutative fully symmetric spaces.

Abstract: In this paper, we give the definability of bilinear singular and fractional integral operators on Morrey-Banach space, as well as their commutators and we prove the boundedness of such operators on Morrey-Banach spaces. Moreover, the necessary condition for BMO via the bounedness of bilinear commutators on Morrey-Banach space is also given. As a application of our main results, we get the necessary conditions for BMO via the bounedness of bilinear integral operators on weighted Morrey space and Morrey space with variable exponents. Finally, we obtain the boundedness of bilinear C-Z operator on Morrey space with variable exponents.

Abstract:We prove a weak-type (1, 1) inequality involving conditioned versions of square functions for martingales in noncommutative Lp-spaces associated with finite von Neumann algebras. As application, we determine the optimal orders for the best constants in the noncommutative Burkholder/Rosenthal inequalities from [Ann. Probab. 31 (2003) 948–995]. We also discuss BMO-norms of sums of noncommuting order-independent operators.
