American Scholarly Productivity in Human Resource Development from 2000 to 2003

Abstract:This article is intended as a step in determining the highest procedures of scholarship in human resource development. This analysis adds to the existing body of literature on excellent sources of HRD scholarship by analyzing papers of the Human Resource Development Quarterly (2000-2003) and reporting on the top institutions according to the number of authors' publications from each institution. In addition, this article provides the most written-about topics in HRD according to the number of papers published on these topics in the HRDQ. The importance of this analysis is its contribution to identifying criteria for determining outstanding sources of HRD scholarship in USA.
