Abstract:Postcolonialism is a kind of far-reaching contemporary cultural trend since seventieth, essay aims at reexamining eightieth's tracing back for root Chinese literature in search for deep reasons of its birth and declination from angel of postcolonialism, and further reveals contradiction of the for root literature. Ever since birth of searching for root literature, it is destined to be in an embarrassing situation which is hard to overcome. On one hand, it shows its obvious rebellion towards forced modernization of Chinese culture, reflecting critical nature of postcolonialism, and on other hand,it shows its extreme fascination towards Chinese ancient culture,thus it sinks into cultural nativeness?
