Abstract:We propose an operator Hermite polynomial method, namely, to replace the special functions' argument by quantum mechanical operator, and in this way we have derived two binomial theorems related to two-variable Hermite polynomials. This method is concise and may be of help in deducing many operator identities, which may become a new branch in mathematical physics theory.

Abstract:By combining the operator Hermite polynomial method and the technique of integration within an ordered product of operators, for the first time we derive the generating function of even- and odd-Hermite polynomials which will be useful in constructing new optical field states. We then show that the squeezed state and photon-added squeezed state can be expressed by even- and odd-Hermite polynomials.

Abstract:We extend the ordinary binomial theorem to the case which involves two-variable Hermite polynomials in the context of quantum optics, and analytically obtain several new generalized binomial theorems whose results exactly equal the single- or two-mode Hermite polynomials. As their applications in the field of quantum optics, we analytically prove that the multiple-photon-subtracted squeezed state ambnesa†b†+ra†+tb† |00⟩ is equivalent to the Hermite-polynomial-weighted quantum state serving as an easily produced non-Gaussian entangled information resource, and the Wigner functions of spin coherent states and their marginal distributions are respectively the Laguerre polynomials and the Hermite polynomials.

Abstract:We propose an operator Hermite polynomial method, namely, we replace the arguments of the special function by quantum mechanical operators, and in this way we derive a binomial theorem involving Hermite polynomials and a negative-binomial theorem involving Laguerre polynomials. These two theorems will have essential applications in quantum optics calculations. This method is concise and helpful in deducing many operator identities, which may become a new branch in mathematical physics theory.

Abstract:We emphasize the importance of two-mode Hermite poly-nomials in quantum optics theory,we consider it as the prominent function in studying the entangled state of continuum variables and two-mode squeezed state,and that possesses a clear physical meaning.By virtue of the two-mode Hermite polynomials and combining operators' integration technique within normal and antinormal orderings,we derive some new operator identities and mutual invertible integration transformation,and prove that squeezed two-mode number state is just the two-mode Hermite polynomial excited squeezed two-mode vacuum state.

Abstract:We have formulated a generating function for the Hermite polynomials by comparing two expressions of the same coherent states attached to planar Landau levels. A first expression is obtained by generalizing the canonical coherent states when written as series expansion in the basis of number states. While the second expression is established by following a construction based on group representation theory.

Abstract:In this paper, by virtue of the entangled state representation we concisely derive some new operator identities regarding to two-variable Hermite polynomial (TVHP). By them and the technique of integration within an ordered product (IWOP) of operators we further derive new generating function formulas of TVHP. They are useful in quantum optical theoretical calculations. It is seen from this work that by combining the IWOP technique and quantum mechanical representations one can derive some new integration formulas even without really performing the integration.

Abstract:We study the optical field’s quadrature excitation state X m |0 , where X = （a+a+）/ √2 is the quadrature operator. We find it is ascribed to the Hermite-polynomial excitation state. For the first time, we determine this state’s normalization constant which turns out to be a Laguerre polynomial. This is due to the integration method within the ordered product of operators （IWOP）. The normalization for the two-mode quadrature excitation state is also completed by virtue of the entangled state representation.

Abstract:Based on the operator Hermite polynomials method (OHPM), we study Stirling numbers in the context of quantum mechanics, i.e., we present operator realization of generating function formulas of Stirling numbers with some applications. Abstract:Using the resolution of unity composed of bosonic creation operator's eigenkets and annihilation operator's un-normalized eigenket, which is a new quantum mechanical representation in contour integration form, we derive new contour integration expression of associated Laguerre polynomials L-m(rho)(vertical bar z vertical bar(2)) and its generalized generating function formula. Abstract:We reveal that the two-variable Hermite function h(m,,n), which is the generalized Bargmann representation of the two-mode Fock state, involves quantum entanglement of harmonic oscillator's wave functions. The Schmidt decomposition of h(m,n) is derived. It also turns out that h(m,)n can be generated by windowed Fourier transform of the single-variable Hermite functions. As an application, the wave function of the two-variable Hermite polynomial state S(r)H-m,H-n(mu a(1)(,\dagger),mu a(2)(dagger)vertical bar 00], which is the minimum uncertainty state for sum squeezing, in [eta vertical bar representation is calculated.

Abstract:By virtue of the technique of integration within an ordered product (IWOP) of operators and the bipartite entangled state representation, we derive some new identities about operator Hermite polynomials in both the single- and two-variable cases. We also find a binomial-like theorem between the single-variable Hermite polynomials and the two-variable Hermite polynomials. Application of these identities in deriving new integration formulas, but without really doing the integration in the usual sense, is demonstrated.

Abstract:For directly normalizing the photon non-Gaussian states (e. g., photon added and subtracted squeezed states), we use the method of integration within an ordered product (IWOP) of operators to derive some new bosonic operator-ordering identities. We also derive some new integration transformation formulas about one-and two-variable Hermite polynomials in complex function space. These operator identities and associative integration formulas provide much convenience for constructing non-Gaussian states in quantum engineering.
