Abstract:Using the method of improved comprehensive comparative advantage index, this paper analyzes the comparative advantage of yam areas in Jiaozuo, and the areas are expressed in the map by GIS software. The results show that there are significant regional differences among yam production, and the townships of production advantages are mainly located in the central and southern parts of Jiaozuo. According to the principle of comparative advantage, it is suggested that yam growing areas of the towns be adjusted, and the rational distribution and specialized production for the yam production be implemented. At last, the reasonable measures and suggestions for the yam development are proposed.
