Abstract:Scientific analysis of the spatial pattern and driving factors of the national sports industry bases and proposing an optimized path would help to improve the construction capacity of the national sports industry bases and promote the high-quality development of the sports industry in the new era. This paper used the methods of the nearest neighbor index,disequilibrium index,nuclear density analysis,spatial autocorrelation and hot spot analysis to analyze the spatial structure characteristics of the national sports industry bases in China from 2006 to 2021,and explored the driving factors of its spatial distribution by using the geographical detector. The results showed that:（1）The national sports industry bases generally presented a spatial distribution pattern of decreasing gradient from the eastern coastal areas to the central and western regions.（2）The national sports industry bases had formed a“five cores and one belt”cluster pattern based on“urban agglomeration”in space.（3）The distribution of national sports industry bases had significantly positive spatial correlation. The hot and cold spots were distributed in a“circle”like gradient from the east to the west.（4）The spatial distribution pattern of national sports industry bases were affected by multiple factors,and the regional economic level,market conditions and scientific and technological investment were the main driving factors. Based on the research conclusions and the realistic development needs,this paper proposed the optimized path of the spatial layout of the national sports industry bases in the new era from the three conceptual dimensions of“point axis,partition and network”.
