Abstract:In this paper, we consider the graded path category associated to a quiver. We investigate all n-differentials on such a category, and also study the associated graded Lie algebra. Moreover, a necessary and sufficient condition is given for the graded path category to admit a DG category structure.

Abstract:This article studies the Lie algebra Der(k Gamma) of derivations on the path algebra k Gamma of a quiver Gamma and the Lie algebra on the first Hochschild cohomology group HH1(k Gamma). We relate these Lie algebras to the algebraic and combinatorial properties of the path algebra. Characterizations of derivations on a path algebra are obtained, leading to a canonical basis of Der(k Gamma) and its Lie algebra properties. Special derivations are associated to the vertices, arrows and faces of a quiver, and the concepts of a connected matrix and boundary matrix are introduced to study the relations among these derivations, concluding that the space of edge derivations is the direct sum of the spaces of the vertex derivations and the face derivations, while the dimensions of the latter spaces are the largest possible. By taking dimensions, this relation among spaces of derivations recovers Euler's polyhedron formula. This relation also leads a combinatorial construction of a canonical basis of the Lie algebra HH1(k Gamma), together with a semidirect sum decomposition of H1(k Gamma).
On the Lie algebra of differential operators on a path algebra

Abstract:In this article we study the Lie algebra Diff(k Gamma) of differential operators on the path algebra k Gamma of a quiver Gamma and relate this Lie algebra to the algebraic and combinatorial properties of the path algebra. We first characterize when a linear operator on a path algebra is a differential operator and thus obtain a canonical basis of Diff(k Gamma). We show that, while the Lie ideal of inner differential operators on k Gamma to a large extent determines the Lie algebra structure on k Gamma, the Lie algebra OutDiff(k Gamma) of outer differential operators, defined to be the quotient of Diff(k Gamma) modulo the inner differential operators, is closely related to the topological and graph theoretic properties of k Gamma. In particular, from a careful analysis of the connection matrix and boundary matrix of a quiver, a canonical basis of OutDiff(k Gamma) is obtained.

Abstract:The concept of Koszulity for differential graded (DG, for short) modules is introduced. It is shown that any bounded below DG module with bounded Ext-group to the trivial module over a Koszul DG algebra has a Koszul DG submodule (up to a shift and truncation), moreover such a DG module can be approximated by Koszul DG modules (Theorem 3.6). Let A be a Koszul DG algebra, and D c (A) be the full triangulated subcategory of the derived category of DG A-modules generated by the object A A . If the trivial DG module k A lies in D c (A), then the heart of the standard t-structure on D c (A) is anti-equivalent to the category of finitely generated modules over some finite dimensional algebra. As a corollary, D c (A) is equivalent to the bounded derived category of its heart as triangulated categories.

Abstract:In this note we highlight a common origin for many ubiquitous geometric structures, as well as several new ones by using only the functors of differential calculus in A.M Vinogradov's original sense, adapted to special classes of (graded) commutative algebras. Special attention is given to the particularly simple cases of diole and triole algebras and we show the latter environment is the appropriate one to describe calculus in vector bundles in the presence of a vector-valued fiber metric.

Differential graded manifolds of finite positive amplitude

Abstract:We prove that dg manifolds of finite positive amplitude, i.e. bundles of positively graded curved $L_\infty[1]$-algebras, form a category of fibrant objects. As a main step in the proof, we obtain a factorization theorem using path spaces. First we construct an infinite-dimensional factorization of a diagonal morphism using actual path spaces motivated by the AKSZ construction. Then we cut down to finite dimensions using the Fiorenza-Manetti method. The main ingredient in our method is the homotopy transfer theorem for curved $L_\infty[1]$-algebras. As an application, we study the derived intersections of manifolds.

Abstract:In[3]and[6],the Hopf algebra structures of path algebra and path coalgebra on a Hopf quiver and a covering quiver respect to a weight sequence respectively were introduced independently.The main aim of this paper is to show the dually one-to-one correspondent relations between their structures(see Theorems 2.1 and 2.4).As applications,firstly,the authors obtain some important results about the Hopf algebra structure on the quotient of path algebra on a cycle;then,they prove that the Sweedler's fourdimensional Hopf algebra H4 is not only quasi-triangular but also co-quasi-triangular.Lastly,they characterize the graded automorphism group of the Hopf algebras on the path algebra of a Schurian covering quiver, according to that on the path coalgebra of a Schurian Hopf quiver.

Generalized Path Coalgebra And Its Application To Dual Gabriel Theorem

Abstract:As the duality of generalized path algebra (see [4]), we firstly introduce the concept of generalized path coalgebra through assigning a k-coalgebra to each vertex of a given quiver. Some elementary properties of generalized path coalgebras are given. Moreover, we discuss the isomorphism problem. It is shown that two generalized path coalgebras are isomorphic with each other if and only if their quivers are isomorphic with certain condition. For a coalgebra with CodimC0 ≤ 1, the Wedderburn-Malcev Theorem are given, that is, there exists a coalgebra projection of C onto C0. It is a generalization of the Wedderburn-Malcev Theorem on coalgebras with separable coradicals. As an important application of generalized path coalgebras, the Dual Gabriel Theorem on a pointed coalgebra is generalized to a coalgebra with some conditions, in particular, with separable coradical, so as to embedding such coalgebra into a generalized path coalgebra from the quiver of the cotensor coalgebra of the coalgebra. Lastly, we discuss the uniqueness of the quiver of the cotensor coalgebra under the meaning of embedding. And, it is shown that the quiver is a wide subquiver of another quiver defined by Montgomery[11].

Abstract:<p>We give a formulation for derived analytic geometry built from commutative differential graded algebras equipped with entire functional calculus on their degree 0 part, a theory well-suited to developing shifted Poisson structures and quantisations. In the complex setting, we show that this formulation recovers equivalent derived analytic spaces and stacks to those coming from Lurie's structured topoi. In non-Archimedean settings, there is a similar comparison, but for derived dagger analytic spaces and stacks, based on overconvergent functions.</p>

Structures on the Category of N-Complexes

Abstract:The theory of $N$-complexes is a generalization of both ordinary chain complexes and graded objects. Hence it yields deeper insight in the structure of these and offers a broader range of applications. This work generalizes the tensor product of chain complexes and graded objects to the case of $N$-complexes using the structures of $q$-binomial coefficients. We then study different approaches to realize the derived category of $N$-complexes. In particular we realize it as the Verdier quotient of the homotopy category of $N$-complexes, as the $\mathrm{h}$-projective objects and as the homotopy category of a category admitting a Quillen model structure.

Abstract:We describe a comparison between pretriangulated differential graded categories and certain stable infinity categories. Specifically, we use a model category structure on differential graded categories over k (a field of characteristic 0) where the weak equivalences are the Morita equivalences, and where the fibrant objects are in particular pretriangulated differential graded categories. We show the underlying infinity category of this model category is equivalent to the infinity category of k-linear stable infinity categories.

Abstract:For an action of a finite group on a finite EI quiver, we construct its 'orbifold' quotient EI quiver. The free EI category associated to the quotient EI quiver is equivalent to the skew group category with respect to the given group action. Specializing the result to a finite group action on a finite acyclic quiver, we prove that, under reasonable conditions, the skew group category of the path category is equivalent to a finite EI category of Cartan type. If the ground field is of characteristic and the acting group is a cyclic -group, we prove that the skew group algebra of the path algebra is Morita equivalent to the algebra associated to a Cartan matrix, defined in [C. Geiss, B. Leclerc, and J. Schröer, Quivers with relations for symmetrizable Cartan matrices I: Foundations, Invent. Math. 209 (2017), 61–158]. We apply the Morita equivalence to construct a categorification of the folding projection between the root lattices with respect to a graph automorphism. In the Dynkin cases, the restriction of the categorification to indecomposable modules corresponds to the folding of positive roots.

Abstract:This paper focuses on defining an analog of differential-graded triangular matrix algebra in the context of differential-graded categories. Given two dg-categories $\mathcal{U}$ and $\mathcal{T}$ and $M \in \text{DgMod}(\mathcal{U} \otimes \mathcal{T}^{\text{op}})$, we construct the differential graded triangular matrix category $\Lambda := \left( \begin{smallmatrix} \mathcal{T} & 0 \\ M & \mathcal{U} \end{smallmatrix} \right)$. Our main result is that there is an equivalence of dg-categories between the dg-comma category $(\text{DgMod}(\mathcal{T}),\text{GDgMod}(\mathcal{U}))$ and the category $\text{DgMod}\left( \left( \begin{smallmatrix} \mathcal{T} & 0 \\ M & \mathcal{U} \end{smallmatrix} \right)\right)$. This result is an extension of a well-known result for Artin algebras (see, for example, [2,III.2].

Abstract:We equip Ellis and Brundan's version of the odd categorified quantum group for sl(2) with a differential giving it the structure of a graded dg-2-supercategory. The presence of the super grading gives rise to two possible decategorifications of the associated dg-2-category. One version gives rise to a categorification of quantum sl(2) at a fourth root of unity, while the other version produces a subalgebra of quantum gl(1|1) defined over the integers. Both of these algebras appear in connection with quantum algebraic approaches to the Alexander polynomial.

Abstract:In Linear Logic ($\mathsf{LL}$), the exponential modality $!$ brings forth a distinction between non-linear proofs and linear proofs, where linear means using an argument exactly once. Differential Linear Logic ($\mathsf{DiLL}$) is an extension of Linear Logic which includes additional rules for $!$ which encode differentiation and the ability of linearizing proofs. On the other hand, Graded Linear Logic ($\mathsf{GLL}$) is a variation of Linear Logic in such a way that $!$ is now indexed over a semiring $R$. This $R$-grading allows for non-linear proofs of degree $r \in R$, such that the linear proofs are of degree $1 \in R$. There has been recent interest in combining these two variations of $\mathsf{LL}$ together and developing Graded Differential Linear Logic ($\mathsf{GDiLL}$). In this paper we present a sequent calculus for $\mathsf{GDiLL}$, as well as introduce its categorical semantics, which we call graded differential categories, using both coderelictions and deriving transformations. We prove that symmetric powers always give graded differential categories, and provide other examples of graded differential categories. We also discuss graded versions of (monoidal) coalgebra modalities, additive bialgebra modalities, and the Seely isomorphisms, as well as their implementations in the sequent calculus of $\mathsf{GDiLL}$.

Abstract:I describe extended gradings of open topological field theories in two dimensions in terms of skew categories, proving a result which alows one to translate between the formalism of graded open 2d TFTs and equivariant cyclic categories. As an application of this formalism, I describe the open 2d TFT of graded D-branes in Landau-Ginzburg models in terms of an equivariant cyclic structure on the triangulated category of `graded matrix factorizations' introduced by Orlov. This leads to a specific conjecture for the Serre functor on the latter, which generalizes results known from the minimal and Calabi-Yau cases. I also give a description of the open 2d TFT of such models which manifestly displays the full grading induced by the vector-axial R-symmetry group.

Abstract:We construct families of differential graded algebras R-n and R-n boxed times R-n for n > 0, and differential graded categories DGP(R-n) generated by some distinguished projective R-n-modules. The category DGP(R-n) gives an algebraic formulation of the contact category of a disk. The 0-th homology category H-0(DGP(R-n)) of DGP(R-n) is a triangulated category and its Grothendieck group K-0(R-n) is isomorphic to a Clifford algebra. We then categorify the multiplication on K-0(R-n) to a functor DGP(R-n boxed times R-n) -> DGP(R-n). We also construct a subcategory of H-0(DGP(R-n)) which categorifies an integral version of U-q(sl(1 vertical bar 1)) as an algebra.
