Abstract:A novel scheme with new quantization target and new quantization strategy was proposed for dual application of digital watermarks.The difference of the sum of the odd and the even coefficients in digital wavelet transform(DWT) domain was presented.The scheme made the watermark embedding distortion attribute to the even coefficients,effectively improving signal-to-noise rate(SNR) after watermark embedding and enhancing robustness given by more resistance to individual coefficient attraction.Then a new distribution of quantization value was proposed to enhance the sensibility of fragile watermark.Fragile-robust combination detection was shown to evaluate the performance of multiple watermarks in copyright protection and content authentication.Experimental results show that the scheme provides high robustness of the robust watermark and great sensibility of the fragile watermark to usual signal attacks.The combination detection figure shows good dual watermarks features for copyright protection and authentication.
