Abstract:In this paper, a nonlinear Klein–Gordon–Maxwell System with solitary wave solution is considered. Using critical point theory, we establish sufficient conditions for the existence of infinitely many solitary wave solutions. Results obtained complement and improve the existing ones.

Abstract:In this paper, we consider a model which describes solitary waves of the nonlinear Klein-Gordon equation interacting with the electromagnetic field, namely, the following Klein-Gordon-Maxwell system {-Delta u+(m(2)-omega(2))u-(2 omega+phi)phi u = f(u), in R-3, -Delta phi=-(omega+phi)u(2), in R-3, where 0 < omega < m are constants and the nonlinearity f satisfies the superlinear condition. Here m and omega denote the mass and the phase respectively, while u and phi are unknowns. By using variational methods and some technique related to Pohozaev identity, we construct bounded Palais-Smale sequences to obtain the existence of infinitely many high energy radial solutions. Moreover, we show that the ground state solutions of the Klein-Gordon-Maxwell system tend to the ground state solutions of the classical Schriidinger equation as omega -> 0. (C) 2021 Elsevier Inc. Moreover, we study the properties of decay estimates and asymptotic behavior for the positive solution.

Abstract:This paper is concerned with the following Klein–Gordon–Maxwell system: −△u+V(x)u−(2ω+ϕ)ϕu=f(x,u),x∈R3,△ϕ=(ω+ϕ)u2,x∈R3,where ω>0 is a constant, V∈C(R3,R), f∈C(R3×R,R), and f is superlinear at infinity. Using some weaker superlinear conditions instead of the common super-cubic conditions on f, we prove that the above system has (1) infinitely many solutions when V(x) is coercive and sign-changing; (2) a least energy solution when V(x) is positive periodic. These results improve the related ones in the literature.

Abstract:In this paper, by using variational methods and critical point theory, we study the existence of semiclassical solutions for the following nonlinear Schrödinger–Maxwell equations{−ε2Δu+V(x)u+ϕu=f(x,u),in R3,−Δϕ=4πu2,in R3, where ε>0 and V(x)⩾0 for all x∈R3. Under some weaker assumptions on V and f, we prove that the system has at least one nontrivial solution for sufficient small ε>0.

Abstract:In this paper we prove a global existence result for nonlinear Klein–Gordon equations in infinite homogeneous waveguides, R×M, with smooth small data, where M=(M,g) is a Zoll manifold, or a compact revolution hypersurface. The method is based on normal forms, eigenfunction expansion and the special distribution of eigenvalues of the Laplace–Beltrami on such manifolds.

Abstract:In this paper, we consider the fractional subcritical Klein-Gordon-Maxwell system as follows: { (-Δ )^s u+V(x)u-(2ω +ϕ (x) )ϕ (x)u= f(x,u), in ℝ^3, (Δ )^sϕ (x)=(ω +ϕ (x) )u^2, in ℝ^3, . the nonlinearity f is superlinear at infinity with subcritical growth and V is continuous and coercive. For the case when f is odd in u we obtain infinitely many high energy sign-changing solutions for the above problem by using a combination of invariant sets method and the Ljusternik-Schnirelman type minimax method.

Abstract:This study is concerned with solitary wave solutions and the dynamic behavior of the (2+1)-dimensional nonlinear fractional Schrödinger system. By exploring the dynamic properties of the equilibrium levels to the corresponding Hamiltonian, the expressions of exact solutions of the above system are obtained, including solitary wave solutions, periodic wave solutions, singular periodic wave solutions, singular wave solutions, kink wave solutions, and anti-kink wave solutions. Moreover, the linear stability, geometric characteristics, and limiting behavior of these solutions to the nonlinear fractional Schrödinger system were investigated.

Abstract:In this paper we study the following nonlinear Klein–Gordon–Maxwell system { − Δ u + [ m 0 2 − ( ω + φ ) 2 ] u = f ( u ) in R 3 , Δ φ = ( ω + φ ) u in R 3 , where 0 < ω < m 0 . Based on an abstract critical point theorem established by Jeanjean, the existence of positive ground state solutions is proved, when the nonlinear term f ( u ) exhibits linear near zero and a general critical growth near infinity. Compared with other recent literature, some different arguments have been introduced and some results are extended.

Abstract:We study a linearly coupled Schrödinger system in ℝN(N ≤ 3). Assume that the potentials in the system are continuous functions satisfying suitable decay assumptions, but without any symmetry properties, and the parameters in the system satisfy some suitable restrictions. Using the Liapunov-Schmidt reduction methods two times and combining localized energy method, we prove that the problem has infinitely many positive synchronized solutions, which extends result Theorem 1.2 about nonlinearly coupled Schrödinger equations in Ao and Wei [Calculus Var. Partial Differ. Equations 51, 761-798 (2014)] to our linearly coupled problem.

Abstract:We propose a new variational approach to finding multiple critical points for strongly indefinite problems without assuming the weak upper semicontinuity on the variational functionals. By this approach, we obtain the existence of infinitely many geometrically distinct solutions for a stationary periodic Schrödinger equation, in which the linear part is strongly indefinite and the nonlinear term is allowed to change sign in general ways.

Abstract:In this paper, the Klein-Gordon equation (KGE) with power law nonlinearity will be considered. The bifurcation analysis as well as the ansatz method of integration will be applied to extract soliton and other wave solutions. In particular, the second approach to integration will lead to a singular soliton solution. However, the bifurcation analysis will reveal several other solutions that are of prime importance in relativistic quantum mechanics where this equation appears.

Abstract:In this paper, we consider the following Schrödinger-Maxwell type equation with critical exponent where the function K satisfies the assumption , and stands for the standard convolution. We first derived the non-degeneracy result for the critical Schrödinger-Maxwell equation. Then, as an application, we proved that problem Eq. (0.1) admits infinitely many non-radial positive solutions with arbitrary large energy. We believe that the various new ideas and technique computations that we used in this paper would be useful to deal with other related elliptic problems involving convolution nonlinear terms.

We use parameter-dependent compactness lemma to prove the existence of nontrivial solution for μ small and λ large enough, then explore the asymptotic behavior as μ → 0 and λ → ∞ . Moreover, we also use truncation technique to study the existence and asymptotic behavior of positive solution of Klein–Gordon–Maxwell system when f ( u ) := | u | q − 2 u where 2 < q < 4 .

Abstract:This paper is concerned with two classes of critical Klein–Gordon–Maxwell systems as follows −Δu+V(x)u−(2ω+ϕ)ϕu=μf(u)+u5,x∈R3,Δϕ=(ω+ϕ)u2,x∈R3and −ε2Δu+V(x)u−(2ω+ϕ)ϕu=g(x,u)+K(x)u5,x∈R3,Δϕ=(ω+ϕ)u2,x∈R3,where μ>0, ε>0, V,K∈C(R3,R+), f∈C(R,R) and g∈C(R3×R,R) are super-linear at infinity. Instead of the expression “μ sufficiently large” in the existing works, we give a certain range μ≥μ0 under which the first system admits a ground state solution when V is positive and periodic. Under some mild conditions on V,K and g, we show that the second system has at least one nontrivial solution provided ε∈(0,ε0], where the bound ε0>0 is expressed explicitly in terms of V,K and g.
