Abstract:Ishikawa and Mann iterative approximation problem of solutions for multi-valued-strongly accretive operator equation in the uniformly smooth Banach space was studied.Some theorems of Ishikawa iterative sequence with error and Mann iterative sequence with error converging strongly to the unique solution of equations f∈Tx and the equations f∈x+ Tx were given.

Abstract:In this paper, we consider the problem of optimization of adaptive direct methods of operator equations. Adaptivity of a direct method is understood in the sense that the subspace on the basis of which it is constructed is chosen depending on the operator of the concrete equation (otherwise, nonadaptive direct method is then concerned), which would essentially let us increase the precision. For some classes of the second kind of Fredhlom integral equations with anisotropic smooth kernels we determine the exact order of the error of adaptive direct methods, and we also give an optimal algorithm.

Abstract:The purpose of this paper is to consider the problem of approximating zero points of accretive operators. We introduce and analysis Mann-type iterative algorithm with errors and Halpern-type iterative algorithms with errors. Weak and strong convergence theorems are established in a real Banach space. As applications, we consider the problem of approximating a minimizer of a proper lower semicontinuous convex function in a real Hilbert space.

Abstract:In this paper, we introduce and study a new system of variational inclusions with (A, η, m)-accretive operators which contains variational inequalities, variational inclusions, systems of variational inequalities and systems of variational inclusions in the literature as special cases. By using the resolvent technique for the (A, η, m)-accretive operators, we prove the existence and uniqueness of solution and the convergence of a new multi-step iterative algorithm for this system of variational inclusions in real q-uniformly smooth Banach spaces. The results in this paper unifies, extends and improves some known results in the literature.

Abstract:We discuss the incomplete semi-iterative method (ISIM) for an approximate solution of a linear fixed point equations x＝ Tx+c with a bounded linear operator T acting on a complex Banach space X such that its resolvent has a pole of order k at the point 1. Sufficient conditions for the convergence of ISIM to a solution of x=Tx+c , where c belongs to the range space of (I-T)k, are established. We show that the ISIM has an attractive feature that it is usually convergent even when the spectral radius of the operator T is greater than 1 and Ind1T≥ 1. Applications in finite Markov chain is considered and illustrative examples are reported, showing the convergence rate of the ISIM is very high.

Abstract:Using the result of the error estimate of the simple extended Newton method established in the present paper for solving abstract inequality systems, we study the error bound property of approximate solutions of abstract inequality systems on Banach spaces with the involved function F being Fréchet differentiable and its derivative F^' satisfying the center-Lipschitz condition (not necessarily the Lipschitz condition) around a point x 0 . Under some mild conditions, we establish results on the existence of the solutions, and the error bound properties for approximate solutions of abstract inequality systems. Applications of these results to finite/infinite systems of inequalities/equalities on Banach spaces are presented and the error bound properties of approximate solutions of finite/infinite systems of inequalities/equalities are also established. Our results extend the corresponding results in [ 3 , 18 , 19 ].

Abstract:In this paper, we reconsider two new iterative methods for solving absolute value equations (AVE), which is proposed by Ali and Pan (Jpn. J. Ind. Appl. Math. 40: 303--314, 2023). Convergence results of the two iterative schemes and new sufficient conditions for the unique solvability of AVE are presented. In addition, for a special case, the optimal iteration parameters of the two algorithms are analyzed, respectively. Numerical results demonstrate our claims.

Abstract:We formulate an iterative approach employing the inertial technique to approximate the anticipated solution for a generalized mixed variational-like inequality, as well as variational inequality and fixed point problems associated with a relatively nonexpansive multivalued mapping within the context of a real Banach space. Additionally, we delve into the robust convergence of our suggested algorithm. Furthermore, we highlight certain implications and present numerical observations to underscore the significance of our findings. The proposed theorem extends and consolidates several previously published works.

Abstract:By using the Ishikawa iterative algorithm, we approximate the fixed points and the best proximity points of a relatively non expansive mapping. Also, we use the von Neumann sequence to prove the convergence result in a Hilbert space setting. A comparison table is prepared using a numerical example which shows that the Ishikawa iterative algorithm is faster than some known iterative algorithms such as Picard and Mann iteration.

Abstract:This paper studies the iterative solutions of Lyapunov matrix equations associated with Itô stochastic systems having Markovian jump parameters. For the discrete-time case, when the associated stochastic system is mean square stable, two iterative algorithms with one in direct form and the other one in implicit form are established. The convergence of the implicit iteration is proved by the properties of some positive operators associated with the stochastic system. For the continuous-time case, a transformation is first performed so that it is transformed into an equivalent discrete-time Lyapunov equation. Then the iterative solution can be obtained by applying the iterative algorithm developed for discrete-time Lyapunov equation. Similar to the discrete-time case, an implicit iteration is also proposed for the continuous case. For both discrete-time and continuous-time Lyapunov equations, the convergence rates of the established algorithms are analyzed and compared. Numerical examples are worked out to validate the effectiveness of the proposed algorithms.
