A storage rack and storage boxes arranged on the storage rack are arranged inside the cabinet body. A shifting device and forks used for forking the storage boxes are further arranged inside the cabinet body. The shifting device is further connected with a controller. The shifting device comprises a left-and-right shifting mechanism, a front-and-back shifting mechanism and an up-and-down shifting mechanism. The left-and-right shifting mechanism comprises a support plate and a sliding plate, wherein the support plate is connected with the front-and-back shifting mechanism or the up-and-down shifting mechanism; a sliding rail which extends left and right, a first motor and a gear which can rotate left and right and is connected with the power output end of the first motor are arranged on the upper end face of the support plate; a sliding block matched with the sliding rail and a rack matched with the gear are arranged on the lower end face of the sliding plate; the forks are arranged on the left side and the right side of the upper end face of the sliding plate. The automatic storage and retrieval cabinet has the advantages that the structure is simple, operation is fast, control is stable, retrieval is accurate, and cost is low.
