Abstract:•Reelin haploinsufficiency is accompanied by increased densities of TH-IR fibers in the hippocampus.•Heterozygous reeler mice, compared to wildtype mice, show decreased TH-IR in the AcbShell.•Heterozygous reeler and control mice show similar TH-IR fiber densities in the prefrontal cortex, amygdala and dorsal striatum.•Both genotypes show comparable 5-HT-IR fiber densities in prefrontal cortex, hippocampus, amygdala and striatum.
