Breast Cancer
Abstract:Taspine was screened for the first time from Radix et Rhizoma leonticis (Hong Mao Qi in Chinese) using cell membrane chromatography in our laboratory. Its anticancer and antiangiogenic properties were demonstrated, and it could serve as a lead compound in anticancer agent development. Here, we investigated the role of one of the derivatives, HMQ1611, with increased activity and solubility, on the regulation of breast cancer cell ZR-75-30 adhesion, migration and invasion.
