Abstract:The complete O(alpha-s) QCD correlations to the decay process H- --> uBAR(i)d(j) of a charged Higgs boson are calculated for an arbitrary up-type quark mass while treating the down-type quark as massless. In the leading-logarithmic approximation, the QCD correlations to the decay rates can be conveniently expressed in terms of the running masses. The corrections decrease the charged-Higgs-boson decay width, as in the case of the standard-theory neutral-Higgs-boson decay.

Abstract:We computed the O(αs) virtual gluino correction to t → H+b in the minimal supersymmetric standard model, and investigated the dependence of the process on gluino and squark masses. For some values of masses, the correction implies up to 8% reduction in the partial width relative to the tree-level result. Abstract:We calculate the $O(\alpha m_t^2/m^2_W)$ corrections arising from diagrams involving the top-quark loops to the light neutral Higgs boson production via $q\bar q'\to WH$ at the Fermilab Tevatron in both the standard model and the minimal supersymmetric model. In contrast to the QCD correction which increases the tree-level cross section, the corrections imply a few percent reduction in the production cross section relative to the tree-leve results.

Abstract:We calculate the one-loop QCD corrections to t-->(t) over tilde(1)<(chi)over tilde>(0)(j) using the dimensional reduction scheme, including QCD and supersymmetric QCD corrections. The analytic expressions for the corrections to the decay width are given, which can easily be extended to t--><(chi)over tilde>(+)(j)(b) over tilde(i). The numerical results show that the correction amounts to more than a 10% reduction in the partial width relative to the tree level result. We also compare the corrections in the no-mixing top squark case with those in the mixing top squark case.

Abstract:We computed the supersymmetric QCD correction to the Higgs decay in the minimal supersymmetric standard model. The analytic expressions of such a correction to the decay rates are given for H, h, A→q q and H + →u d , keeping all masses. The numerical results are presented for the rates of H, A→t t , H, h→b b and H + →t b . Abstract:We calculate the Yukawa corrections of order $O(\alpha_{{\mathrm{ew}}}m_{t(b)}^{2}/m_{W}^{2})$ to charged Higgs boson production in association with a top quark at the Tevatron and the LHC. The corrections are not very sensitive to the mass of the charged Higgs boson and can exceed $-20\%$ for low values of $\tan\beta$, where the contribution of the top quark is large, and high values of $\tan\beta$ where the contribution of the bottom quark becomes large. These Yukawa corrections could be significant for charged Higgs boson searches based on this production process, particularly at the LHC where the cross section is relatively large.

Abstract:We calculate the Yukawa corrections of order O(alpha(ew)m(t(b))(2)/m(W)(2)), O(alpha(ew)m(t(b))(3)/m(W)(3)), and O(alpha(ew)m(t(b))(4)/m(W)(4)) to the widths of the decays (t) over tilde (2)-->(t) over tilde (1)+(h(0),H-0,A(0)) in the minimal supersymmetric standard model, and perform a detailed numerical analysis. We also compare the results with the ones presented in earlier literature, where the O(alpha(s)) supersymmetric (SUSY) QCD corrections to the same three decay processes have been calculated. Our numerical results show that, for the decays (t) over tilde (2)-->(t) over tilde (1)+h(0), (t) over tilde (2)-->(t) over tilde (1)+H-0, the Yukawa corrections are significant in most of the parameter range, and can reach approximately 10%; for the decay (t) over tilde (2)-->(t) over tilde (1)+A(0), the Yukawa corrections are smaller, only a few percent. The numerical calculations also show that using the running quark masses and the running trilinear coupling A(t), including the QCD, SUSY QCD, and SUSY-electroweak effects, and resumming all high order (tan beta)-enhanced effects, can vastly improve the convergence of the perturbation expansion. We also discuss the effects of the running of the Higgsino mass parameter mu on the corrections, and find that they are significant, too, especially for large tan beta.
Top-Quark Decay at Next-to-Next-to-Next-to-Leading Order in QCD

Abstract:We present the first complete high-precision QCD corrections to the inclusive decay width $\mathrm{\Gamma}_t$, the $W$-helicity fractions $f_{\mathrm{L,R,0}}$ and semi-inclusive distributions for the top-quark decay process $t \rightarrow b + W^+ + X_{\mathrm{\tiny QCD}}$ at NNNLO in the strong coupling constant $\alpha_s$. In particular, the pure NNNLO QCD correction decreases the $\mathrm{\Gamma}_t$ by about $0.8\%$ of the previous NNLO result at the top-quark pole mass scale, exceeding the error estimated by the usual scale-variation prescription. After taking into account all sources of errors, we get $\mathrm{\Gamma}_t = 1.3148^{+0.003}_{-0.005} + 0.027\,(m_t - 172.69)\,\text{GeV} $, the error of which meets the request by future colliders. On the other hand, the NNNLO QCD effects on $f_{\mathrm{L,R,0}}$ are found to be much smaller, at the level of one per-mille for the dominating $f_{0}$, predestining them to act as precision observables for the top-quark decay process.

Abstract:The complete next-to-leading order (NLO) QCD corrections to charged Higgs boson associated production with a top quark through bg-->tH(-) at the CERN Large Hadron Collider are calculated in the minimal supersymmetric standard model and two-Higgs-doublet model in the (MS) over bar scheme. The NLO QCD corrections can reduce the scale dependence of the leading order (LO) cross section. The K factor (defined as the ratio of the NLO cross section to the LO one) does not depend on tan beta if the same quark running masses are used in the NLO and LO cross sections, and varies roughly from similar to1.6 to similar to1.8 when charged Higgs boson mass increases from 200 to 1000 GeV.

Abstract:We calculate the leading supersymmetric electroweak corrections to t --> (t) over tilde(1)<(chi)over tilde>(0)(j) using dimensional reduction scheme within an approximation of low tan beta, which can easily be extended to t --> <(chi)over tilde>(+)(j)(b) over tilde(i). The numerical results show that such corrections can exceed -12% for tan beta = 2 and -6% for tan beta = 11, respectively. And these corrections vary insensitively with m((t) over tilde 1) in the region allowed by the kinematics except for ones near the threshold.

Abstract:Future colliders aim to provide highly precise experimental measurements of the properties of the Higgs boson. In order to benefit from these precision machines, theoretical errors in the Higgs sector observables have to match at least the experimental uncertainties. The theoretical uncertainties in the Higgs sector observables can be reduced by including missing higher-order terms in their perturbative calculations. In this direction, we compute the mixed QCD-electroweak corrections at ${\mathcal O}(\alpha \alpha_s)$ to the Higgs decay into four charged leptons by considering the golden decay channel, $ H \to e^+e^-\mu^+\mu^-$. Due to color conservation, these corrections receive contributions only from the two-loop virtual diagrams. In the complex mass scheme, we find that the mixed QCD-electroweak corrections to the partial decay width, relative to the leading order predictions, are positive and about $0.27\%$ for $\alpha_s(M_Z)$. Relative to the next-to-leading order electroweak corrections, the mixed QCD-electroweak corrections are found to be approximately $18\%$ for $\alpha_s(M_Z)$. With respect to the leading order, we observe a flat effect of the mixed QCD-electroweak corrections on the invariant mass distribution of the lepton pairs with fixed QCD coupling. The $\phi$ distribution, due to the mixed QCD-electroweak corrections, follows a $(1-\cos \phi)$ dependence.

Abstract:We calculate the annihilation decay widths of spin-singlet heavy quarkonia h(c), h(b) and eta(b) into light hadrons with both QCD and relativistic corrections at order O(alpha(s)v(2)) in nonrelativistic QCD. With appropriate estimates for the long-distance matrix elements by using the potential model and operator evolution method, we find that our predictions of these decay widths are consistent with recent experimental measurements. We also find that the O(alpha(s)v(2)) corrections are small for b (b) over bar states but substantial for c (c) over bar states. In particular, the negative contribution of O(alpha(s)v(2)) correction to the h(c) decay can lower the decay width, as compared with previous predictions without the O(alpha(s)v(2)) correction, and thus result in a good agreement with the recent BESIII measurement.

Abstract:We consider the full genuine next-to-leading order SUSY-QCD corrections to the charged Higgs decays into quarks supplemented by the NNLO corrections to the effective top and bottom Yukawa couplings. The NNLO corrections to the effective top Yukawa coupling are a new ingredient of our analysis. We arrive at an approximate NNLO prediction for MSSM charged Higgs decays after including the N$^4$LO QCD corrections for large charged Higgs masses. The residual uncertainties are in the percent range or below, depending on the particular MSSM scenario.

Abstract:We calculate the O(αewmt(b)2/mW2) and O(αewmt(b)4/mW4) supersymmetric electroweak corrections to the process H+→W+h in the Minimal Supersymmetric Model. These corrections arise from the virtual effects of the third family quarks (top and bottom) and squarks (top-squark and bottom-squark). We find that for mH+>200 GeV at low tanβ(⩽3), the corrections can increase the tree-level decay widths and the branching radios more than 20% and 40%, respectively.
