Abstract:The title compound, (1R,2R,3R,5S)-3-(3-chlorophenyl)-1-hydroxy-2-methyl-6-phenyl-8-oxa-6-azabicyclo[3.2.1]octan-7-one, was synthesized and characterized by H-1 and C-13 NMR and HRMS spectroscopy. Its absolute molecular configuration was investigated by X-ray crystallography. The crystal structure analysis revealed that the structure exhibits intermolecular hydrogen bonds of the type O-H horizontal ellipsis O. The methyl group and chlorophenyl group are located in the cis configuration. The conformation is stabilized by weak intermolecular C-H... O interactions.

Abstract:In the title molecule, C18H11Cl3N2O2, the central benzene ring is oriented at 8.44 (12) and 70.57 (11)degrees with respect to the terminal chlorophenol and dichloropyridine rings, respectively. The molecular structure is stabilized by an intramolecular O-H center dot center dot center dot N hydrogen bond, which generates an S(6) ring motif. In the crystal, pi-pi stacking between parallel pyridine rings is observed [centroid-centroid distance = 3.6561 (14) angstrom].

Abstract:In the title compound, C(16)H(17)ClN(2)O(5), the dihedral angle between the aromatic rings is 77.36 (4)°. An intra-molecular C-H⋯O inter-action results in the formation of a planar [r.m.s. deviation = 0.103 (2) Å] five-membered ring, which is oriented at a dihedral angle of 4.84 (4)° with respect to the adjacent benzene ring. Abstract:In the title compound, C(21)H(16)O(2), the six crystallographically independent mol-ecules (Z' = 6) all exist in the enolized form. Strong intra-molecular hydrogen bonds are observed: one approximate H-atom-centered O⋯H⋯O hydrogen bond, two tautomeric forms O-H⋯O (three mol-ecules) and O⋯H-O (two mol-ecules). Only one weak inter-molecular C-H⋯O hydrogen bond between two neighboring mol-ecules is observed in the crystal structure. In addition, eight very weak non-conventional inter-molecular C-H⋯π hydrogen-bonding contacts between mol-ecules are observed.

Abstract:In the molecule of the title compound, C19H17ClN2O4, the quinoxaline ring system is planar [maximum deviation = 0.013 (3)angstrom] and oriented at a dihedral angle of 80.18 (3)degrees with respect to the benzene ring. In the crystal structure, intermolecular C-H center dot center dot center dot N interactions link molecules into chains. pi-pi contacts between the quinoxaline systems [centroid-centroid distance = 3.654 (1) angstrom] may further stabilize the structure.

Abstract:The title compound C11H10O4 has been synthesized and its crystal structure was determined by single-crystal X-ray diffraction. The crystal is of monoclinic, space group P2(1)/c with a = 12.136(1), b = 5.559.(1), c = 14.615(2) Angstrom, beta = 96.758(3)degrees, V = 979.1(3) Angstrom(3), Z = 4, M-r = 206.19, D-c = 1.399 g/cm(3), F(000) = 432 and mu(MoKalpha) = 0.107 mm(-1). The structure was solved by direct methods and refined by full-matrix least-squares techniques to the final R = 0.0453 and wR = 0.0990. X-ray analysis reveals that the compound is a stable enol with a big conjugated system, and an intramolecular hydrogen bond makes the enol more stable.

Abstract:In the title compound, C24H22N2O3, the 4,5-dihydro-1,2,4-oxadiazole ring system is in an envelope conformation with the C1, N1, C8 and N2 sets of atoms in a common plane with O1 0.110(3)Angstrom out of this plane.
