Abstract:Notice of Retraction After careful and considered review of the content of this paper by a duly constituted expert committee, this paper has been found to be in violation of IEEE's Publication Principles. A total of 150 strains of 10 genera of myxobacteria were isolated from 48 soils in some special habitat of china which is Qinghai-Tibet Plateau, Hebei, Yunnan. Among these strains, some special strains have never been described before. Strains of 91018 and 92006 produced high anticancer bioactive metabolite and killed human embryo lung cells lightly and were selected out with screening model of MTT to be the samples of tests in vivo. The H22 tumor bearing mice was collected and the anticancer rate and life prolongation rate was calculated. The expression of Bcl-2 and P53 protein in the tumor tissue were studied by the flow cytometry method. Results showed 91018 and 92006 could inhibit H22 cell growth and increase life prolongation rate. 91018 and 92006 could induce tumor apoptosis. 91018 and 92006 could interrupt DNA synthesis only in low concentration. The apoptosis of 91018 and 92006 were not conducted by P53. 91018 and 92006 could reduce Bcl-2 protein, which might improve tumor cells apoptosis in low dose. Significance and Impact of the Study: The results confirm that myxobacteria are prolific producers of a variety of anticancer metabolites. So far their screening has often been hampered because their isolation is time-consuming and is quite difficult to handle and cultivate. This paper set a strong base for developing and utilizing of myxobacteria from extreme environments such as Qinghai-Tibet Plateau. It also explained anticancer effect of myxobacteria and correlation with Bcl-2, p53 and apoptosis.
