Abstract:Relationship was analyzed between sugar contents of flue-cured tobacco leaves and soil nutrients based on 177 samples from Hunan. The results showed that sugar contents among different samples changed significantly. The contents of total sugars in grades of B2F,C3F and X2F were 22.28±3.32%,24.84±2.91% and 24.18±3.49%,and the reducing sugars were 19.69±2.47%,22.10±2.55% and 21.33±3.08%,respectively. The correlation of sugar contents for different tobacco grades with total N and hydrolytic N in soil was negative,and with total K and available K was positive. But the factors of influencing sugar contents were different in different tobacco grades. Iinculuding total N,total K,hydrolytic N and available K,and the change was analyzed for contents of sugar in tobacco leaves,indicating that contents of sugar increased with soil K increasing and soil N decreasing.
