Abstract:The global climate change characterized by the increasing temperature has affected the regional rainfall precipitation character and water cycle significantly. Global climate Model is the most widely useful tool for the research in the evaluation of precipitation and the prediction of future precipitation trend. It can reflect the characters and distribution of regional precipitation. But the simulating results have a certain gap to the observed precipitation. Comparing to the Global Climate Model, the Regional Climate Model has a better accuracy in simulating precipitation. But the modeling results still cannot apply for the hydrological model directly. In this paper, the Regional Climate Model3 is used to simulate the precipitation process in Haihe River Basin from 1990 to 1999. By contrasting to the observed precipitation, the simulating accuracy in different spatial including point scale, water resources zonings scale are all analyzed. The results show that the simulating accuracy is relevant to the selection of spatial scales.
