Abstract:We demonstrate that a self-assembled graphene membrane can be used to mode-lock a fiber laser reliably. The membrane is formed at the liquid/air interface of reduced graphene oxide solution. The membrane was transferred onto the end-face of an optical fiber through physical adsorption, thus constituting a fiber-integrated SA.
