Abstract:Considering the soil-subway station structure system as a problem in the theory of plane strain, the dynamic constitutive Davidenkov model and dynamic plastic damage model are adopted to simulate respectively the soil and concrete of the subway station structure. Energy response characteristics of the structure are studied under near-fault earthquakes as well as ground motion at mediate-far field. Results indicate that the damping energy and hysteretic energy dissipation of the structure are monotone increasing with the prolonged action time of ground motion. However, the earthquake excitations input have significant effect on the energy response characteristics. The hysteretic energy of interior columns decrease successively from below along the structure layers while the side wall hysteretic energy mainly distributed at the top and bottom layer. Moreover, the dissipations of mid layers are relatively less. Also it can be known from the results that the energy dissipations of upperplate are relative larger than interior columns, and in some degree, the beam-slab hysteretic energy are homogeneously distributed. Besides, the concentration effect of energy dissipation can be characterized by hysteretic energy density. As the interior columns are the most concentrated ones, aseismic measures of those interior columns should be improved when it comes to the seismic design.
