Abstract:The title compound, C16H12ClN3S, was synthesized by the reaction of 5-(4-methylphenyl)-1,3,4-thiadiazol-2-amine and 4-chlorobenzaldehyde. The thiadiazole ring is essentially planar with mean deviation of 0.0042 angstrom.

Abstract:The title compound, C18H17N3S2, was synthesized by the reaction of 5-(3,5-dimethylphenyl)-1,3,4-thiadiazol-2-amine and 4-(methylsulfanyl)benzaldehyde. An intramolecular C—H⋯S hydrogen bond results in the formation of a planar (r.m.s. deviation = 0.003 Å) five-membered ring. In the crystal structure, intermolecular C—H⋯N hydrogen bonds link the molecules to form layers parallel to (011).

Abstract:The title compound, C(8)H(6)FN(3)S, was synthesized by the reaction of 3-fluoro-benzoic acid and thio-semicarbazide. The dihedral angle between the planes of the thia-diazole and benzene rings is 37.3 (2)°. In the structure, two crystallographically independent mol-ecules form a centrosymmetric dimer, in which two inter-molecular N-H⋯N hydrogen bonds generate an R(2) (2)(8) motif.

Abstract:The title compound, C(14)H(11)N(3)OS, was synthesized by the reaction of phenoxybenzoic acid and thiosemicarbazide. The thiadiazole ring makes dihedral angles of 0.99 (16) and 86.53 (18)degrees, respectively, with the benzene and phenyl rings. The dihedral angle between the benzene and phenyl rings is 87.17 (19)degrees. Intramolecular C-H center dot center dot center dot S contacts are present. In the crystal, intermolecular N-H center dot center dot center dot N hydrogen bonds link the molecules.

Abstract:Crystals of the title compound, C15H13ClN4O6, were obtained from a condensation reaction of 2-chloro-3,4-dimethoxybenzaldehyde and 2,4-dinitrophenylhydrazine. Within the dinitrophenyl group, the distances of 1.413 (3) and 1.405 (3) Angstrom for the C-C bonds close to the imino group are appreciably longer than the average distance of 1.372 (4) Angstrom for other aromatic C-C bonds in the same benzene ring. The benzene rings in the molecule are nearly coplanar, and the overlapped arrangement of benzene rings of neighboring molecules shows the existence of a pi-pi stacking interaction.

Abstract:The title compound, C19H18BrN3O3, was synthesized by the reaction of 2-methanesulfonyl-4,6-dimethoxypyrimidine and N-(2-bromophenyl)-2-hydroxybenzylamine in tetrahydrofuran. There are three different planes in the molecule, each of which is conjugated. The dihedral angles between the pyrimidine plane and the planes of the two phenyl rings are 107.85 (4) and 77.38 (2) degrees, and the dihedral angle between the planes of the two phenyl rings is 103.15(3)degrees.

Abstract:The title compound {4-[2-(9-hexyl-9hexyl-carbazol-3-yl)vinyl]phenyl} dimethylamine has been synthesized by the well known Wittig reaction, and its crystal structure was determined by single-crystal X-ray diffraction analysis. It crystallizes in monoclinic, space group P21/c with a = 47.87(2), b = 10.222(4), c = 9.612(4) Aring;, β = 92.401(9)°, V= 4699(3) Å3, Z = 8, C28H32N2, M r = 396.56, Dc = 1.121 g/cm3, F(000) = 1712 and μ/(Moka) = 0.065 mm 1 .The final R and wR are 0.0793 and 0.1983, respectively for 3524 observed reflections with I> 2σ(I). In the title compound, the bond lengths are normal, and the crystal is stabilized by Van der Waals' forces.

Abstract:The title compound, C19H17N3O3S, was synthesized via the reaction of 2-(4,6-dimethoxypyrimidin-2-ylsulfanyl) benzoic acid and aniline in dichloromethane using dicyclohexylcarbodiimide as catalyst. The dihedral angles between the pyrimidine plane and the planes of the two benzene rings are 71.2 (2) and 62.7 (2)degrees; the dihedral angle between the planes of the two benzene rings is 68.4 (4)degrees.
