Abstract:In the structure of the title salt, C6H9N2+ center dot C7H6NO2-, the 4-aminobenzoate anions are linked to adjacent anions and 2-amino-4-methylpyridinium cations via N - H center dot center dot center dot O hydrogen bonds, forming a three-dimensional supramolecular structure. The crystal structure also shows a weak C - H center dot center dot center dot O hydrogen bond between adjacent anions. Within the 4-aminobenzoate anion, the carboxylate group is twisted by 14.0 (4)degrees with respect to the benzene ring.

Weak intra-molecular C-H⋯O and N-H⋯O hydrogen bonds result in the formation of three five-membered rings, which have envelope conformations. The crystal structure contains intermolecular O-H⋯Cl, N-H⋯O, N-H⋯Cl and O-H⋯O hydrogen bonds.

Abstract:In the title compound, C14H16ClNO2, the cyclo-hexyl ring has a chair conformation. The dihedral angle between the benzene ring and the mean plane of the four planar C atoms of the cyclo-hexyl ring is 45.2 (3)°. The two carbonyl groups are trans to one another, with an O=C-C=O torsion angle of -137.1 (3)°. In the crystal, mol-ecules are linked by N-H⋯O hydrogen bonds forming chains propagating along [001]. A region of disordered electron density, situated near the unit-cell corners, was treated using the SQUEEZE routine in PLATON [Spek (2009 ▶). Acta Cryst. D65, 148-155]. It gave a solvent-accessible void of ca 400 Å(3) for only 21 electrons. It is probably due to traces of the solvent of crystallization and was not taken into account during structure refinement.

Abstract:The title compound, C17H19N2OS+ center dot Cl-, was synthesized through a diastereoselective three-component condensation in one pot. The six-membered heterocycle adopts a half-chair conformation which is slightly twisted at 298 K. The cations and the Cl- anions of the structure are connected through a two-dimensional network of N-H center dot center dot center dot Cl and C-H center dot center dot center dot Cl hydrogen bonds. Phenyl rings intercalate between layers, and no pi center dot center dot center dot pi stacking is observed in the structure.

Abstract:The crystal structure of the title compound, C(12)H(22)N(+)·Cl(-)·0.1H(2)O, consists of (3,5-dimethyl-1-adamantyl)ammonium chloride (memanti-nium chloride) and uncoordinated water mol-ecules. The four six-membered rings of the memanti-nium cation assume typical chair conformations. The Cl(-) counter-anion links with the memanti-nium cation via N-H⋯Cl hydrogen bonding, forming channels where the disordered crystal water molecules are located.
