Abstract:The title compound, (1R,2R,3R,5S)-3-(3-chlorophenyl)-1-hydroxy-2-methyl-6-phenyl-8-oxa-6-azabicyclo[3.2.1]octan-7-one, was synthesized and characterized by H-1 and C-13 NMR and HRMS spectroscopy. Its absolute molecular configuration was investigated by X-ray crystallography. The crystal structure analysis revealed that the structure exhibits intermolecular hydrogen bonds of the type O-H horizontal ellipsis O. The methyl group and chlorophenyl group are located in the cis configuration. The conformation is stabilized by weak intermolecular C-H... O interactions.

Abstract:A synthetic route for the preparation of 2-(benzylthio)-5-[1-(4-fluorobenzyl)-3-phenyl-1H-pyrazol-5-yl]-1,3,4-oxadiazoles derivatives from ethyl 3-phenyl-1H-pyrazole-5-carboxylate has been developed. The configurations of the intermediate 1,3,4-oxadiazole-2-thione and 3-bromobenzylthio substituted 1,3,4-oxadiazole were determined by single crystal X-ray diffraction analysis. The in vitro xanthine oxidase inhibitory activity of these compounds was evaluated.

Abstract:The title compound (C18H13ClF3N3O) were synthesized and recrystallized from CH3OH. The compound was characterized by H-1 NMR, MS, HRMS, and X-ray diffraction. The compound crystallized in the monoclinic space group P2(1)/n with a = 8.2354 (14), b = 12.686 (2), c = 16.633 (3) angstrom, alpha = 90, beta = 97.951 (3), gamma = 90 degrees, V = 1721.0 (5) angstrom(3), Z = 4, and R = 0.0376 for 1933 observed reflections with I > 2 sigma(I). X-ray analysis reveals that intermolecular N-H center dot center dot center dot N interactions exist in the adjacent molecules. Theoretical calculation of the title compound was carried out with HF/6-31G (d,p), B3LYP/6-31G (d, p). The full geometry optimization was carried out using 6-31G (d, p) basis set and the frontier orbital energy. The optimized geometric bond lengths and bond angles obtained by using HF and DFT (B3LYP) showed the best agreement with the experimental data.

Abstract:The title compound, C23H16ClN3, has been synthesized by the reaction of 4,5-diphenyl-2-(2-nitro-5-chlorophenyl)imidazole with triethyl ortho-acetate, induced by a low-valent titanium reagent. There are two independent molecules of similar conformation in the asymmetric unit. The dihedral angles between the pyrimidine and imidazole rings are 2.14 (2) and 2.71 (3)degrees.

Abstract:A single crystal of new 2-substitued quinazoline derivative has been successfully synthesized through a simple and novel process based on a two-step reaction involving cyclisation, oxidation and hydrasination. The structure of the newly synthesized product was fully characterized by spectroscopic analysis NMR ( 1 H & 13 C), IR and HRMS. This intriguing compound crystalizes crystallises in a monoclinic system with P21/c space group. Notably, the stability of crystal packing was assured via hydrogen bonds, π- stacking and van der Waals interactions. An intermolecular interaction examination of the crystal structure was performed using Hirshfeld surface analysis and two-dimensional fingerprint plots. In addition, the electrostatic surface potential was calculated using density functional theory. In addition, the 3-amino-2-(2-thienyl)-4(3H)-quinazolinone, was applied to selected bacterial strains, and its antibacterial activity was assessed. In addition, a molecular docking study has been realised.

Abstract:The N-(3-((1-(5-bromo-2-(pyrrolidin-1-yl)phenyl)-5-oxo-[1,2,4]triazolo[4,3-a]quinazolin- 4(5H)-yl)methyl)phenyl)-2-thiomorpholinoacetamide is a novel compound having the [1,2,4]triazolo[4,3-a]quinazolinone. It was synthesized by nine steps and confirmed by 13C NMR, 1H NMR, FT-IR and MS spectroscopies. Meanwhile, the single crystal of the title compound was subjected to crystallographic analysis and conformation determination. Moreover, density functional theory (DFT) was used to calculate the optimized structures of the molecule, which was compared with the X-ray measurement. The result of the molecular structure optimized by DFT is similar to the crystal structure determined by X-ray single crystal diffraction. In order to further investigate some physical properties of the title compound, by using the B3LYP/6-311+G(2d, p) method, molecular electrostatic potential and frontier molecular orbitals was calculated. Furthermore, the binding mode of the title compound and SHP2 protein (PDB: 6BMR) was analyzed by molecular docking. Finally, hirshfeld surfaces analyses can explain the atom pair contacts of the crystal and the quantitative analysis of intermolecular interactions.

Abstract:A series of quinoxaline 1,4-di-N-oxide analogues were prepared from benzofurazan N-oxide derivatives and β-diketone ester compounds by the improved Beirut reaction. The structures of the target products were characterized by NMR, MS, IR and elemental analysis measurements, and that of 2-carbomethoxy-3-hydroxyquinoxaline- di-N-oxide was further confirmed by single-crystal X-ray diffraction. Its crystal structure belongs to the monoclinic system, space group C2/c with a = 14.4320 (12) Å, b = 10.7514 (9) Å, c = 13.2728 (11) Å, V = 1958.5 (3) Å 3, Z = 8. The X-ray crystallographic analysis reveals that quinoxaline 1,4-di-N-oxide displays acyloin-endiol tautomerism.

Abstract:The compound 2-（1-naphthalenylamino）-4-thiazolidinone was synthesized by the reaction of 1-（naphthalene-1-yl）thiourea with ethyl chloroacetate in an ionic liquid, and its structure was characterized by IR, 1H NMR and single-crystal X-ray diffraction. The crystal of the title compound belongs to monoclinic, space group P21 /c with a=10.0081（3）, b=14.5312（4）, c=7.8739（2） , β=99.425（3）°, Z=4, V=1129.64（5）3 , Dc=1.425 g/cm3 , μ=0.269 mm-1 , F（000）=504, the final R=0.0519 and wR=0.1507. X-ray analysis indicated that the five-membered ring is essentially planar in this molecule, and intermolecular hydrogen bonds N（1）-H（1）…N（2）, C（3）-H（3）…O（1）, C（4）-H（4）…O（1） and C（12）-H（12a）…O（1） were observed. π-π Stacking interactions contribute to the stability of the structure. DSC-TG analysis showed that the title compound experienced a phase change at 190 ℃ and began to decompose above 240 ℃.

Its structure was determined by single-crystal X-ray diffraction. It crystallizes in monoclinic, space group P21/c with a = 1.4903(3), b = 1.5230(2), c = 0.9615(16) nm, Z = 4, V = 1.7769(5) nm3, Dc = 1.317 g/cm3, μ = 0.201 mm-1, F(000) = 736, R = 0.0795 and wR = 0.2233. In the title compound, all rings are essentially planar.

It crystallizes in triclinic, space group P (1) over bar, a = 9.1549(3), b = 10.7168(4), c = 17.6272(6) angstrom, alpha = 102.9363(12), beta = 90.2713(9), gamma = 117.4265(10)degrees, V = 1484.41(9) angstrom, Z = 2,mu(MoK alpha) = 0.323, F(000) = 658, Z = 2, D-c = 1.417 g/cm(3), the final R = 0.0687 and wR = 0.2066 for 4943 observed reflections (I > 2 sigma(I)). X-ray analysis reveals that the diazaphospholine ring is almost planar and the two ethoxy groups bonded on the 3a- and 4-positions are in trans configurations. Its antiproliferative activity was also tested in vitro against four human tumor cell lines.

Abstract:Three new 2-methyl-4-styrylquinoline derivatives have been synthesized in high yields using Friedländer reactions between chalcones [1-(2-aminophenyl)-3-arylprop-2-en-1-ones] and acetone, and characterized using IR, 1H and 13C NMR spectroscopy, and mass spectrometry, and by crystal structure analysis. In (E)-4-(4-fluorostyryl)-2-methylquinoline, C18H14FN, (I), the molecules are joined into cyclic centrosymmetric dimers by C-H...N hydrogen bonds and these dimers are linked into sheets by π-π stacking interactions. The molecules of (E)-2-methyl-4-[4-(trifluoromethyl)styryl]quinoline, C19H14F3N, (II), are linked into cyclic centrosymmetric dimers by C-H...π hydrogen bonds and these dimers are linked into chains by a single π-π stacking interaction. There are no significant hydrogen bonds in the structure of (E)-4-(2,6-dichlorostyryl)-2-methylquinoline, C18H13Cl2N, (III), but molecules related by translation along [010] form stacks with an intermolecular spacing of only 3.8628 (2) Å. Comparisons are made with the structures of some related compounds.

Abstract:The title compound 4-(5-((4-bromobenzyl)thio)-4-phenyl-4H-1,2,4-triazol-3-yl)pyridine (C20H15BrN4S) was synthesized, and its structure was confirmed by 1H NMR, MS and elemental analyses and single-crystal X-ray structure determination. It crystallizes in the triclinic space group P-1 with a = 7.717(3), b = 9.210(3), c = 13.370(5) Å, α = 80.347(13), β = 77.471(13), γ = 89.899(16)°, V = 913.9(6) Å3, Z = 2 and R = 0.0260 for 3145 observed reflections with I > 2σ(I). A Density functional theory (DFT) (B3LYP/6-31G) calculation of the title molecule was carried out. The full geometry optimization was carried out using a 6-31G basis set, and the frontier orbital energy. Atomic net charges are discussed. Calculated bond lengths and bond angles were found to differ from experimental values, and the compound exhibits moderate antifungal activity.

Abstract:The title compound n-propyl-4-[2-(4,6-dimethoxypyrimidin-2-yloxy)benzylamino] benzoate (C23H25N3O5) was synthesized by the reaction of 2-methanesulfonyl-4,6-dimethoxy pyrimidine and N-(4'-propoxycarbonylphenyl)-2-hydroxybenzylamine in THF, and its structure was determined by single-crystal X-ray diffraction. The crystal is of monoclinic, space group P2/n with a = 14.8504(8), b = 9.4420(4), c = 16.3129(9) Angstrom, beta = 104.881(1)degrees, V = 2210.6(2) Angstrom(3), Z = 4, D-c = 1.272 g/cm(3), F(000) = 896.00, mu(MoKalpha) = 0.91cm(-1), R = 0.051 and wR = 0.118. Of the 19761 collected reflections, 5004 were unique. The title compound was also characterized by elemental analysis, IR, MS and H NMR. In the molecule there exist three different planes. In each of them a conjugated system is formed. The dihedrals between the pyrimidine plane and two phenyl planes (C(7)similar toC(12), C(14)similar toC(19)) are 99.18 and 164.15degrees, respectively, and the dihedral between these two phenyl rings is 94.93degrees. The conformation of the title compound is of boat-like.

Abstract:The synthesis and crystal structure of benzyl 4-([1,1'-biphenyl]-4-yl)-2-methyl-5-oxo-1,4,5,6,7,8-hexahydroquinoline-3-carboxylate are described. Single crystal X-ray diffraction of title molecule was used to investigate the crystal structure. The most stable optimised structure was identified using the B3LYP/6-31 + G(d) method. IR, 1 H-NMR and elemental analysis of the title compound were performed. Besides, frontier molecular orbitals, molecular electrostatic potential, and thermodynamic properties were investigated by theoretically. In order to explore the nonlinear optical properties were performed theoretically. Hirshfeld analysis was also performed to determine the interactions of the molecule.
