Experimental Study on Adaptive Isolation of Periodical Vibration

Abstract:For the isolation of multi-tonal vibration at multiple locations, an adaptive isolation method for vibration control was constructed by combing the tracking filtering technique with an anti-saturation LMS algorithm and was further verified with an experiment. The anti-saturation LMS algorithm can prevent any excessive adjustment of controller weights in the case of strong disturbance by introducing an anti-saturation scheme into the traditional LMS algorithm, which can optimize the updating process during the adaptation of controller weights according to the degree of saturation. The experimental results show that the adaptive method is able to suppress the periodical disturbance effectively and to improve the control performance by alleviating output saturation.
