EAST Timing and Synchronization System Based on SOPC Technology

Abstract:Timing and synchronization system is the foundation to realize real-time plasma discharge control for tokamak.Base on SOPC technology,the EAST timing and synchronization system is developed,which distributes precise clock and synchronized trigger signals to all the subsystems and realizes the accuracy timing control of the EAST plasma discharge experiments.The precision of the timing and synchronization system is higher than 1 μs,which meets current requirement of the EAST experiments.
