Abstract:Reclaimed water reused for landscape was p rone to algal bloom as well as health issues. Low concentrations of nitrogen and phosphorus in landscape water were effective to prevent algal bloom. In this study, "GFH+BF" treatment system was used to control reclaimed water quality for landscape. Integrating physical and chemical indicators with biological analysis method, the quality of artificial lake could be evaluated comprehensively. GFH remove 89.8% TP from reclaimed water and reduce TP concentration to < 0.05mg/L. As purification system for artificial lake, BF can reduce TP, NH4-N and TN very well, the removal rates of TP, NH4-N and TN are 33.0%,39.5% and 26.0% respectively. Moreover, the effluent of BF was reinjected into the artificial lake and improved hydrodynamic circulation. Freshwater photobacterium (Vibrio qinghaienis) and marine photobacterium (Vibrio fisheri) were used to detect the biological toxicity of water samples respectively. The results show that Luminosity inhibition rate of artificial lake is low toxicity and is not harmful to humans. In the toxicity test of marine photobacterium, the effluent of GFH and BF have stimulating effects on photobacterium. ©2010 IEEE.
