Abstract:In the title compound, C14H16ClNO2, the cyclo-hexyl ring has a chair conformation. The dihedral angle between the benzene ring and the mean plane of the four planar C atoms of the cyclo-hexyl ring is 45.2 (3)°. The two carbonyl groups are trans to one another, with an O=C-C=O torsion angle of -137.1 (3)°. In the crystal, mol-ecules are linked by N-H⋯O hydrogen bonds forming chains propagating along [001]. A region of disordered electron density, situated near the unit-cell corners, was treated using the SQUEEZE routine in PLATON [Spek (2009 ▶). Acta Cryst. D65, 148-155]. It gave a solvent-accessible void of ca 400 Å(3) for only 21 electrons. It is probably due to traces of the solvent of crystallization and was not taken into account during structure refinement.

Abstract:In the title compound, C20H25NO5, the dihydropyridine ring adopts a flattened boat conformation. The methoxyphenyl ring is almost perpendicular to the mean plane of the pyridine ring [dihedral angle = 88.42 (3)degrees]. The two carbonyl units adopt a synperiplanar conformation with respect to the double bonds in the dihydropyridine ring. In the crystal, molecules are connected by N-H center dot center dot center dot O hydrogen bonds into R-4(4) (24) tetrameric rings. A region of disordered electron density, located at the center of four adjacent molecules, was treated with the SQUEEZE routine in PLATON [Spek (2009). Acta Cryst. D65, 148-155]. It is probably the result of traces of the solvent of crystallization and was not taken into account during the structure refinement.

Abstract:The title compound, C(15)H(17)NO(6), is approximately planar, with dihedral angles of 3.11 (4) and 2.12 (4)° between the connecting amino-methyl-ene unit and the planar part of the dioxane ring, and between the dimethoxy-benzyl ring and the amino-methyl-ene group, respectively. The dioxane ring exhibits a half-boat conformation, in which the C atom between the dioxane O atoms is 0.5471 (8) Å out of the plane. The mol-ecule has an intra-molecular N-H⋯O hydrogen bond which may stabilize the planar conformation. In the crystal, weak inter-molecular C-H⋯O hydrogen-bonding contacts, result in the formation of sheets parallel to the ab plane.

On the basis of the unchanging S configuration of the chiral C atom introduced by the isocyanate reagent, the chiral centre on the tricyclo ring system is shown to adopt an S configuration. Abstract:The crystal of the title compound, C(13)H(12)N(2)O(6), contains a bifurcated intra-molecular hydrogen bond between the N-H group and one of the O atoms from both the nitro group and the dioxane-4,6-dione moiety. In addition, mol-ecules are linked by a series of inter-molecular C-H⋯O secondary inter-actions. The dihedral angles between the benzene ring and the nitro group and the conjugated part of the dioxane-4,6-dione moiety are 19.1 (2) and 17.89 (7)°, respectively.
