Abstract:RFID device management and monitoring is an indispensable part of RFID middleware technology, this paper presents an implementation of device management and monitoring in reconfigurable middleware, which consists mainly of two tasks: one is managing the RFID hardware and software devices, and the other is monitoring the running status of RFID software and hardware devices. Through management, we can carry out reasonable adjustment and dynamic configuration of RFID devices in order to improve performance and ensure service; through monitoring, we can understand whether the current operation status of devices and system is normal, whether there is existence of bottlenecks or potential crisis.
