Abstract:Environmental protection investment is the basis for implementing environmental protection.In recent years,the total mount of environmental investment is increasing constantly.But in general,stable channel for the investment is not established,and it is difficult for environmental protection investment to increase synchronously with the economy.The article analyzed the relationship between environmental investment and economic growth based on relevant analysis and analyzed the elasticity of environmental protection investment.The results showed a lack of relevance of the growth rate between the environmental protection investments and economics.In the long run,however,the growth rate of environmental protection investment keeps long-run equilibrium relationship with the rate of financial income growth and there is a single-causality between them.At the same time,the elasticity of environmental protection investment is volatile and has a decreasing trend in recent years and the environmental protection investment growth is slowing compared to the economics growth and the fixed assets investment.And it results in the increasing of environmental pressure.What is more,there is a lack of investment in environmental protection to grow with the inherent growth of economy.In order to realize the requirement that the speed of investment growth should be higher than economic growth,the article gives detailed suggestions on creating inherent growing mechanism,broadening the investment ways and making incentive policy to keep the stable and rapid growth of environmental protection investment.
