Abstract:A new species of the genus Nilothauma Kieffer, N. pandum sp. n., is described, and its morphological descriptions and illustrations are also given. A key to the males of Nilothauma is given. The adult male of N. pandum sp. n. can be distinguished from known species of the genus by the following combination of characters: anal point very broadly lanceolate with microtrichia in median ridge and apical margin, rounded at apex; superior volsella pad-like, expanded distally; median volsella curved, rounded at apex, with 2 long basal setae and 1 long median seta.

An updated identification key for the adult male Phlogothamnus species is provided, and a global distribution map showing the geographic distribution of all species is also provided. A cumulative checklist of 10 Phlogothamnus species including the basionym, localities of type materials, type depositories, and updated distribution data is also presented. Abstract:During our studying of the fauna of Tibet, China, many specimens of the subfamily Tachininae ( Diptera , Tachinidae ) were collected and examined. Three species are described here as new to science, Leskia latisurstyla sp. nov. , Trichoformosomyia cuonaensis sp. nov. , and Tachina jilongensis sp. nov. , and two species, Nemoraea javana (Brauer & Bergenstamm, 1894) and N. echinata Mesnil, 1953, are newly recorded from Tibet. In addition to their descriptions, illustrations, and diagnoses, three identification keys are provided. The specimens in this study are kept in the Insect Collection of Shenyang Normal University, China ( SYNU ).

Abstract:A new leafhopper genus Sugea gen. nov. is described and illustrated here based on type species Sugea obtusangula sp. nov. from Yunnan Province, China, and placed in the tribe Dikraneurini (subfamily Typhlocybinae). Sugea is easily distinguishable from all other known dikraneurine genera based on the angulate face profile with a distinct submarginal furrow present along the anterior and lateral margins.

Abstract:The genus Tanna Distant, 1905 (Hemiptera, Cicadidae, Cicadinae, Leptopsaltriini, Leptopsaltriina) currently includes 23 species (three tentatively placed), with its actual geographical distribution in China, Japan, Nepal, Bhutan, Cambodia, Thailand and Vietnam. Most of them, 16 species, are known from China, including one new species here described. A new species of cicada, Tanna fengi Wang sp. nov. , is described from Yunnan, southwest China. Colour plates are presented to illustrate all diagnostic characters. An updated list of Tanna species occurring in China is provided.

Abstract:The taxonomy of the hylicine genus Hatigoria Distant is reviewed based on morphological study of the types and other specimens. The male external morphology and genitalia of two known species, H. praeiens Distant, 1908 and H. sauteri Jacobi, 1914, are described and photographed for the first time. A description and figures of the female ovipositor of H. praeiens Distant, 1908 are provided. One new species, H. longistylia n. sp., from Laos and China is reported with descriptions and figures. This also represents the first record of the genus Hatigoria from Laos. A key to adult males of all species is provided.
