Abstract:A trust model is introduced in this paper according to the volatility of computation node in Grid platform. Two independent evidences considered here are the ratio of finished task in allocated task and the results obtained by special test node. Dempster-Shafer's rules are used to combine the two evidences into the trustiness degree of computation node. This model can be used in task schedule, task migration and performance evaluation of Grid platform. Finally some experiments based on task migration are made in a lightweight desktop Grid platform and results show that the platform using this model can have a better performance.
