Research on Data Sharing in Web-based Combat Simulation System

Abstract:Oriented to the united combating simulation system, as the need of eXtensible Modeling and Simulation Framework (XMSF), it is a new tide to apply the Web technology and Service oriented Architecture in the inter-operation among distributed simulation systems. The traditional data sharing methods in combat simulation were introduced based on HLA/RTI standard first. Aiming at the deficiency of these methods, a data sharing method in Web-based combat simulation system was advanced. We explain the principle of the method, the frame of Simulation Data Agent (SDA), the realization of the SDA and the working process were explained. Finally, an application of the Web-based combat simulation system was given and the advantages and the future of this method were summarized.
