Abstract:Process of Static screen-Flocculation-A/O was adopted for treatment of the effluent from recycled paper mill.The quality of effluent discharged from the second clarifier reached the local discharge standards of Guangdong Province.Testing results showed that removal rates of SS and COD after physic-chemical treatment were up to 90%,and 50% respectively,while those after biological treatment was at 50%, 90% respectively.The operation cost was 0.533RMB per ton wastewater.This technology of A/O combined with physic-chemical process was reasonable and feasible for the treatment of wastewater from paper making with recycled fibers.
