Concept, Model and Framework of Human-Oriented Smart Community

Abstract:In the practice of smart city, due to the proper spatial scale and the important role in city life and social management of community, smart community has become a hot field, which promotes the experiment and application of smart city, and also an important direction of urban community's development and construction in the future. In recent years, the practice of smart community, which is mostly dominated by governments and companies, has been carried out in cities across China. It has already made some achievements, but there were also some problems, including the strong dominance of governments, the technology-oriented or system-oriented framework, and the negligence of community planning and residents' social interaction. This study proposes a sort of human-oriented smart community, based on data center which consists of individual data of residents, which includes smarter community planning, informatization management, personalized service and social interaction. We emphasize on the interconnection and collaboration of governments, relative companies and residents, focus on residents' daily life, and promote their life quality through innovative approach.
