Spectrum allocation in cognitive network based on column generation approach

Abstract:Given the traffic demands and limited spectrum bands, spectrum allocation, routing and time scheduling should be jointly optimized in order to minimize the system activation time to satisfy the traffic demands. A new optimized decomposition technology based on column generation (CG) approach was used to tackle this problem. Simulation results verify the validity of column generation, and prove that mesh network can highly improve utilization ratio of spectrum.
