Then, we prove the global A(r) (Omega)-weighted Poincare inequality for A-harmonic tensors. Sharp Reilly-type inequalities for submanifolds in space forms

Abstract:Let M be an n(>2)-dimensional closed orientable submanifold in an (n+p)-dimensional space form ℝ^n+p(c). We obtain an optimal upper bound for the second eigenvalue of a class of elliptic operators on M defined by L_Tf=-div(T∇ f), where T is a general symmetric, positive definite and divergence-free (1,1)-tensor on M. The upper bound is given in terms of an integration involving tr T and |H_T|^2, where tr T is the trace of the tensor T and H_T=∑_i=1^nA(Te_i,e_i) is a normal vector field associated with T and the second fundamental form A of M. Furthermore, we give the sufficient and necessary conditions when the upper bound is attained. Our main theorem can be viewed as an extension of the famous `Reilly inequality'. The operator L_T can be regarded as a natural generalization of the well-known operator L_r which is the linearized operator of the first variation of the (r+1)-th mean curvature for hypersurfaces in a space form. As applications of our main theorem, we generalize the results of Grosjean ([16]) and Li-Wang ([19]) for hypersurfaces to higher codimension case.

Abstract:The local two-weight norm inequalities for compositions of Laplace-Beltrami operator and the Green's operator,applied to A-harmonic tensors on manifolds,are first proved.And then it is generalized to the global results.These results provided effective tools for studying of the behavior of A-harmonic tensors further and played an important role in studying the integral properties of the Lp(ΛkM)space.In the same time,they generalized the existed results of the reference [4].

Abstract:In this paper we prove the Ar(λ)-weighted Caccioppoli-type inequality and weak reverse Hölder inequality for A-harmonic tensors. We also obtain the Ar(λ)-weighted Hardy–Littlewood inequality for conjugate A-harmonic tensors. These inequalities can be considered as extensions of the classical results.

Abstract:In this paper, we establishweighted higher order exponential type inequalities in the geodesic space (X, d, mu) by proposing an abstract higher order Poincare inequality. These are also new in the non-weighted case. As applications, we obtain a weighted Trudinger's theorem in the geodesic setting and weighted higher order exponential type estimates for functions in Folland-Stein type Sobolev spaces defined on stratified Lie groups. A higher order exponential type inequality in a connected homogeneous space is also given.

Abstract:Let $M$ be an $m (\ge2)$-dimensional closed orientable submanifold in an $n$-dimensional complete simply-connected Riemannian manifold $N$, where the sectional curvature of $N$ is bounded above by $\delta$. When $\delta<0$, inspired by Niu-Xu (arXiv:2106.01912), we give new upper bounds for the first nonzero eigenvalues of the $p$-Laplacian and the $L_T$ operator, respectively. These generalize Niu-Xu's work for the Laplacian (arXiv:2106.01912) and improve the estimates due to Chen (Nonlinear Anal.,196, 111833, 2020) for the $p$-Laplacian and Grosjean (Hokkaido Math. J., 33(2) , 319-339, 2004) for the $L_T$ operator, respectively. We also obtain several Reilly-type inequalities for the weighted manifolds and some boundary value problems.

Abstract:We prove a new class of $L^2$-weighted elliptic estimates on smooth two-manifolds for positive weights $\omega$ that formally satisfy $\omega^2\Delta\ln(\omega) = -\kappa(x)\omega^2$. The proof is short and relies on a lemma about symmetric two dimensional matrices.

Abstract:This article explores weighted $(L^p, L^q)$ inequalities for the Fourier transform in rank one Riemannian symmetric spaces of noncompact type. We establish both necessary and sufficient conditions for these inequalities to hold. To prove the weighted Fourier inequalities, we apply restriction theorems on symmetric spaces and utilize Calder{ó}n's estimate for sublinear operators. While establishing the necessary conditions, we demonstrate that Harish-Chandra's elementary spherical functions play a crucial role in this setting. Furthermore, we apply our findings to derive Fourier inequalities with polynomial and exponential weights.

Abstract:This paper considers the dual of anisotropic Sobolev spaces on any stratified groups 𝔾. For 0≤k<m and every linear bounded functional T on anisotropic Sobolev space W m−k,p (Ω) on Ω⊂𝔾, we derive a projection operator L from W m,p (Ω) to the collection 𝒫 k+1 of polynomials of degree less than k+1 such that T(X I (Lu))=T(X I u) for all uW m,p (Ω) and multi-index I with d(I)≤k. We then prove a general Poincaré inequality involving this operator L and the linear functional T. As applications, we often choose a linear functional T such that the associated L is zero and consequently we can prove Poincaré inequalities of special interests. In particular, we obtain Poincaré inequalities for functions vanishing on tiny sets of positive Bessel capacity on stratified groups. Finally, we derive a Hedberg-Wolff type characterization of measures belonging to the dual of the fractional anisotropic Sobolev spaces W α,p 𝔾.

Abstract:We prove a new general Poincaré-type inequality for differential forms on compact Riemannian manifolds with nonempty boundary. When the boundary is isometrically immersed in Euclidean space, we derive a new inequality involving mean and scalar curvatures of the boundary only and characterize its limiting case in codimension one. A new Ros-type inequality for differential forms is also derived assuming the existence of a nonzero parallel form on the manifold.

Weighted isoperimetric ratios and extension problems for fractional conformal Laplacians

Abstract:We investigate a novel connection between the weighted isoperimetric problems and the weighted Poisson integrals of the extension problems for nonlocal elliptic operators. We first derive sharp inequalities for the weighted Poisson integrals associated with degenerate elliptic equations on the half-space and the unit ball, and classify their extremizers. The equations arise from the Caffarelli-Silvestre extension for the fractional Laplacian on the Euclidean space and its conformal transformation via the Möbius transformation. We next interpret the above sharp inequalities in a conformal geometric viewpoint. For this aim, we formulate a variational problem involving a weighted isoperimetric ratio on a smooth metric measure space induced by a conformally compact Einstein (CCE) manifold. Then, we prove that the variational problem is closely linked to the Chang-González extension for a fractional conformal Laplacian on the conformal infinity of the CCE manifold, and is reduced to the sharp inequality if the CCE manifold is either the Poincaré half-space or ball model. We also find a criterion that ensures the existence of a smooth extremizer of the variational problem, and present a relevant conjecture.
