Abstract:Different methods of automatic detecting are challenging problems in many fields Most of them are simply based on detection Of image or sound, and have some limitations caused by the camera's field of view or the frequency of the sound. Our system is based on sound detection and image analysis of object's motion. Sound detection adopts an algorithm of hyperbolic locating according to signal's time difference which is sensed by a comparator from two microphones. Image analysis integrates two methods into the system which are based on motion and complexion matching The proposed system utilizes both sound and image for signal processing, so it can work without serious deterioration performance in case of low resolution. Experiments on sound detection and image analysis are presented and the results are discussed. The design of the system will be applied well in intelligence Systems.

Abstract:Abstract Safety is the top priority in railway development. At present, the rapid progress of economy and science and technology makes the speed of China’s railway operation and the density of the railway network are increasing, which have a direct impact on China’s railway safety. The research on railway safety detection technology can quickly realize the detection and elimination of related safety hidden dangers and prevent the occurrence of safety accidents, which not only ensures the safety of people’s lives and property, but also is conducive to the establishment of a harmonious and safe railway environment in China and can promote further economic development. The emergence and development of information technology provides a relatively new technical means for railway safety detection, which can realize the rapid progress of detection technology. Based on the information technology and with the help of the security location algorithm, this paper briefly analyzes the problems encountered in railway safety detection, and puts forward the specific components and Suggestions of railway safety technology. Abstract:Rail trains are an indispensable part of the transportation, so technological innovations such as artificial intelligence will inevitably promote the overall development of unmanned driving technology in this field, how to ensure the safety of unmanned trains is related to intelligent rail detection technology is very important, such as the detection of foreign body intrusion on rails, turnouts, curved rails, etc. These technologies have become the basic technology of rail train automatic driving technology. This paper divides the key technology of rail intelligent detection into three parts, and conducts in-depth analysis and research from these three aspects: curved track detection and warning module, turnout detection and warning module, obstacle detection and warning module, and combined with the actual needs of each module, Continuously through experiments, choose more suitable and optimal algorithms to achieve and then integrate the module algorithms to achieve the synchronization of the work between each module without interfering with each other, and design and implement the intelligent rail detection and early warning system to enhance the interactive experience. According to the functional requirements of different modules of the system, this paper selects core algorithms such as curvature radius, Hough transforms and frame difference method to improve each module, and verifies the feasibility of the selected algorithm.
A Method for Fast Searching and Detecting DS Signals with 2~(18) Long Code

Abstract:The general methods for detecting spread spectrum signal and estimating its parameters, with their merits and demerits, are briefly discussed in this paper. In the detection of 2~ 18 long code spread spectrum signal, these methods are difficult to realize in engineering due to the magnitude of data and calculation. The basic principle of a new detection method, namely fast searching and correlation cumulating, is discussed in detail. This method has been successfully applied in practice, realizing process control and calculation of correlation cumulating in the FPGA hardware platform, and completing the detection and parameters-estimation of 2~ 18 long code DS signals. This method can be also used in the reconnaissance of other DS signals with different length codes.

Abstract:With the rapid development of science and technology, testing equipment and testing methods are constantly updated. Radar detectors have the advantages of losslessness, high efficiency, high resolution, and high-speed radar image capture. They can accurately locate defects in railway tunnels, respond to hidden dangers in time, and provide strong technical support for transportation. This paper proposes to optimize the defect detection of railway tunnel radar through the combination of multisensor technology and active interference suppression algorithm and designs the corresponding sensor system according to the content. This article analyzes several factors that affect the radar detection effect and makes a detailed summary from the detection environment and other aspects. At the same time, it uses the multisensor system combined with active interference suppression algorithm to design a railway tunnel detection simulation experiment. Experimental results show that the use of multisensors combined with active interference suppression algorithm to optimize radar detection can effectively improve the accuracy of railway tunnel defect detection. Through the analysis of the results of tunnel defect detection, the detection accuracy of this paper has reached 98.8%, which can provide an effective reference for the detection of railway tunnels.

Abstract:According to the characteristics of the wayside frequency-shift signal spectrum,and based on a great number of computer emulators and real-time experiments and on non-complete periods sampling,the feasibility of applying the under-sampling technology to the real-time FFT analytical method of tramroad FSK signal is validated.The result satisfies the requirements of the detection guideline.The frequency resolution and the character of real-time are also discussed.

Abstract:We present an anti-noise ϕ-optical time-domain reflectometer-based distributed acoustic sensing system that can effectively differentiate noise and interference for high-speed railway intrusion detection. A distributed acoustic sensing interrogator unit, based on digital heterodyne detection, was deployed in a real field railway station and three types of intrusion signals were collected, including wall climbing, wall breaking, and barbed wire crossing. Sensing signals were analyzed and identified by a comprehensive deep model which consisted of a temporal relation extraction module and a spatial feature encoding module. A novel hierarchical structure of the convolutional long short-term memory network was designed for temporal pattern analysis and spatial features were extracted by a convolution neural network. To accelerate computation, signals with lower energy were filtered out and the combined spatial-temporal features were used for classification. The experiment on real field data achieved over 90% of the threat detection rate, with an approximately 10% false alarm rate, under various parameter settings. The anti-noise performance was compared with the latest high-speed railway intrusion system and it demonstrated a significant improvement of noise and threat identification.

Abstract:Aiming at the problems of spectrum leakage, difficulty in guaranteeing demodulation accuracy, and endangering driving safety in signal detection algorithm based on periodogram with limited sampling duration, this paper proposes for the first time a kind of ZPW-20000 frequency-shift signal detection algorithm based on nonlinear least squares, so as to improve the detection performance of ZPW-2000 frequency-shift signal, to ensure the safe operation of trains, and to improve the operational efficiency. The mathematical model of ZPW-2000 frequency-shift signal is established, the Cramér-Rao bound (CRB) for carrier-frequency and low-frequency estimation are derived, and a nonlinear least squares algorithm containing three processes, namely, the coarse estimation, the grid search based on Fast Fourier Transform (FFT), and the exact search, is designed, which is applied to the detection of ZPW-2000 frequency-shift signal. The research results show that the accuracy of carrier-frequency and low-frequency estimation of the proposed algorithm is better than that of the periodogram method for different sampling durations, and the number of decoding errors of the proposed algorithm and the periodogram method is reduced to zero when the sampling durations are greater than or equal to 0.11 s and 0.19 s, respectively, and the proposed algorithm reduces the limitation on the sampling durations. As the signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) increases, the root mean square error (RMSE) of carrier-frequency and low-frequency estimation of the proposed algorithm can approach the CRB. when the SNR of −2 dB, the number of decoding errors of the proposed algorithm is reduced to zero, while the periodogram method requires the SNR of 2 dB to achieve the same effect. The proposed algorithm performs well in detection accuracy, real-time and anti-interference ability, which is of great significance for ensuring driving safety and improving the reliability of the vehicle-ground communication mode based on ZPW-2000 track circuit.

Abstract:With the rapid development of the high-speed train industry, the high-speed train control system has now been exposed to a complicated network environment full of dangers. This paper provides a speculative parallel data detection algorithm to rapidly detect the potential threats and ensure data transmission security in the railway network. At first, the structure of the high-speed train control data received by the railway control center was analyzed and divided tentatively into small chunks to eliminate the inside dependencies. Then the traditional threat detection algorithm based on deterministic finite automaton was reformed by the speculative parallel optimization so that the inline relationship's influences that affected the data detection order could be avoided. At last, the speculative parallel detection algorithm would inspect the divided data chunks on a distributed platform. With the help of both the speculative parallel technique and the distributed platform, the detection deficiency for train control data was improved significantly. The results showed that the proposed algorithm exhibited better performance and scalability when compared with the traditional, non-parallel detection method, and massive train control data could be inspected and processed promptly. Now it has been proved by practical use that the proposed algorithm was stable and reliable. Our local train control center was able to quickly detect the anomaly and make a fast response during the train control data transmission by adopting the proposed algorithm.

Abstract:A new line-spectrum detection algorithm is proposed based on the matching extent of high-resolution and low-resolution power spectrums.For a certain data section,the high-resolution power spectrum is firstly estimated as a template,and then several low-resolution power spectrums are estimated and compared with the template to verify the line-spectra.Under the condition of sinusoid signal mixed with Gaussian white noise,the detection rate and the false alarm rate of this algorithm is deduced theoretically and proved by the Monte-Carlo simulation.In comparison with the conventional methods,this algorithm doesn't need any information of the noise power spectrum and has constant false alarm rate.In the application of vehicle long-distance detection,this method achieves satisfying performance.

Abstract:In order to meet the requirements of large capacity,high security and reliability in Railway Communication System for data transmission,direct sequence spread spectrum communication was proposed in main line railway.Direct sequence spread spectrum communication was a broadband communications through multiplying pseudo-random sequence and narrow-band information to form the extended spectrum signal.The application of direct sequence spread spectrum communication have a significant advantage on the processing gain,anti-interference ability,ranging,timing,and concealment over the existing railway GSM-R Communication System.Applying the direct sequence spread spectrum communications to the Railway System would enhance the safety and reliability of the Railway Signal System as well as efficient and convenience.

Abstract:This paper proposes a set of local line pattern detector(LLPD) for automatic rail detection in freight railway stations.It uses LLPD to extract the features of rail edges,and discards the fallacious patterns from the result of the previous step.It re-connects the broken lines using Hough transform.Compared with other edge detection methods,the new technique is efficient for rail detection with complex surrounding.The proposed method can locate the obstructions on the railroads and thus of great importance for reducing railroad accidents.

Abstract:The main purpose of railway fence monitoring is to prevent people and livestock impact, cross or damage the railway fence and avoid accidents. Fiber fence technique is a new type of perimeter intrusion sensor, which was developed in the 1990s'. It has overcome many drawbacks of the traditional perimeter intrusion sensor, and realized long distance, distributed, high sensitivity, high location accuracy, low false alarm rate perimeter intrusion sensing. This article proposed a railway fence monitoring system based on BOTDR(Brillouin Optical Time Doman Reflectometer), the response time of this system is 10s, the detection range is 5km, and the location accuracy is 2m within this range.

Abstract:For the safety requirements of railway transport, this paper proposes a detection method of railway signal based on dsPIC30f6014. On the basis of briefly introduced dsPIC30f6014, putting forward the method of estimating wheel position, completing fault diagnosis of sensor and the evaluation of sensor capability, show the hardware design, software design and methods of experiment. The experimental results show that this method can complete the function of railway signal detection real-time and accurately.

Abstract:The accuracy of ZPW-2000 frequency shift signal demodulation is related to the safety and efficiency of high-speed trains. This paper proposed a kind of ZPW-2000 frequency-shift signal detection algorithm based on improved Relaxation algorithm (ZFSD-IR) to address the issue of low accuracy in detecting ZPW-2000 frequency shift signal under strong noise interference, as the traditional fast Fourier transform (FFT) spectrum analysis methods are susceptible to fence effects and spectrum leakage effects. Firstly, the principle of ZPW-2000 jointless track circuit was analyzed, and then the ideal and simplified models of ZPW-2000 frequency shift signal were established, respectively. Finally, the simulation experiments were conducted on ZPW-2000 frequency shift signal detection under different sampling durations and signal-to-noise ratios (SNR). The effectiveness of the proposed algorithm was verified through comparative analysis with the traditional algorithms. The research results indicated that the ZFSD-IR algorithm has better accuracy in carrier-frequency and low-frequency estimation than traditional algorithms, and can achieve accurate detection of ZPW-2000 frequency shift signal under the lower SNR conditions. It has high detection accuracy and good anti-interference ability, ensuring the safe operation of high-speed trains.

Abstract:Intelligent traffic systems for railway object detection have become the focus of research in recent years. Accurate and fast object detection using a camera is an important but challenging problem in the railway industry. In this article, we propose an object detector with low power yet robust detection for collision warning in a train safety system. The proposed object detector comprises three modules. First, a stable sampling module is used to reduce the dimensions of the feature map and image information loss. Second, a lightweight feature extraction module utilizes a dynamic bottleneck structure to control the calculation load and enhance the expressive ability of the model. Third, a feature-fusion module combines high- and low-level features to enhance the semantic information and improve the accuracy of detection of multiscale and small objects. Experimental results demonstrate that the proposed network achieves reasonable results for railway object detection and outperforms the current state-of-the-art detectors. Finally, we design an obstacle-avoidance device that can be installed at the front of the train for real-time security warning in real-world conditions.

Abstract:Due to the increasing complexity of electromagnetic signals, there exists a significant challenge for radar signal detection. In this paper, a novel radar detection approach based on time-frequency distribution (TFD) is proposed. Exploiting the complementation of linear TFD and bilinear TFD approaches, the cross terms of Wigner-Ville distribution (WVD) are suppressed. By using an optimal threshold selected adaptively, the regions of WVD auto terms are determined exactly. And the multicomponent radar signals can be detected efficiently. Simulation results show that this approach can efficiently detect not only linear frequency modulation (LFM) signals, but also normal signals and phase modulation (BPSK and QPSK) signals. ? Abstract:In an electrified railway system, electrical energy is provided to the train through the traction network for its normal operation. Starting from the traction substation, the traction current flows through the catenary, the train, and finally returns to the traction substation via the steel rail. Due to the absence of the on-line detection technology for rail current, it has been a long time that the magnitude of the current flowing on the rail is unclear. Therefore, how to effectively detect rail current has become an industrial and academic focus recently. This article uses a new type of tunnel magnetoresistance (TMR) sensor, focusing on the rail power frequency current online detection technology based on the TMR gradient method. First, this article analyzes the current and the magnetic field distribution characteristics near the rail, then considers the actual installation situation on the spot, and selects the appropriate sensor installation location. Finally, through simulation and actual measurement, it is verified that the scheme has a flexible structure, easy installation, strong anti-interference ability, and good detection accuracy.

Abstract:Spectrum sensing is a key technology in the field of cognitive radio.Two main measures of spectrum sensing transmitter detecting part are analyzed:energy detection and static cycle stationary detection,as well as their theory basis and implementation mechanism.Then those two measures are combined as an organic whole to appy in emission signal detections of different modulation formats.Subsequently,The relevant parameters(energy detection double threshold,static cyclic spectrum detection threshold) are explored according to validity and reliability index(false alarm probability,redetect probability and detection probability).Finally,the detecting effect consideration to both reliability and validity in different modulation formats can be achieved by simulating and analyzing the changing trend of detection probability associated with SNR at the receiving end.
